Just about every Xbox Studio game shown at XO19 had the same art style, not a single Xbox studio realistic looking game.
Yeah I felt the same way..
But on the real I didn’t expect any heavy hitters today... many indie games..
I will say.. that this was all about showcasing game pass and gamepass is now worth it. You are straight up saving money with gamepass.. I was going to buy Otherworlds and Streets of rage 4...
Plus I heard a rumor that they are working on making every xbox game backwards comparatively with scarlet...
If they are able to do it.. then that’s a wrap..

My only fear is that those are the type of games they are going to make. Truthfully they need 2 more triple A studios to compete with Sony because Sony isn't going out buying Double A studios. If Xobx have another generation like they did this generation, this may be their last, because they are not getting new customers they have already lost half the 360 fanbase that they had.
True. Just because you can match the power and price of the PS5 won't mean shit when they drop Spider-Man, God of War, possibly Uncharted and so many other exclusives. Gears and Halo can't do it alone. They need something to hit you in the gut like The Last of Us.

Xbox doesn't have any narrative based, single player, photorealistic games. You could have put a Nintendo logo in the corner of all of the shit they showed yesterday, and I would have honestly believed they were all Switch games. Horizon Zero Dawn looks better than every xbox game, and it's almost 3 years old. What the fuck is Microsoft doing?
I agree with you if you didn't know you were watching a Xbox event you would have thought they were Switch games. Only 2 games in my opinion have taken advantage of the Xbox One X: Red Dead 2 which is 3rd party and Gears 5. Xbox are making these the low graphic games so the will play on the OG Xbox One next gen. Xbox must show why people need to buy the Scarlett at E3 because Sony is going to show the house.
Sony is going to pull out Horizon Zero Dawn 2 for the PS5, which will kill any of these Pixar games. I do love and support the devs making the game, because as an artist, I'll always give props to creative people trying to make something. My beef is with the Xbox marketing team that spent months talking about Xbox being super powerful, and all they have to show is old ass games on GamePass and these fresh new titles that look like 360 games. Who do they think their demographic is? These games look like they're targeting kids, and last time I checked, most kids don't have a spare $500 laying around to spend on a console.
I agree Xbox market team if they have one is horrible. A lot of us paid $500 for the X and only Red Dead and Gears 5 take advantage of the power. Don't forget Crackdown 3 was going to launch the X. I agree that these new titles look like brighter 360 games.What make a powerful system if your own 1st party isn't going to take advantage of your system. Microsoft is slowly moving towards that Nintendo crowd but they can't make great games like Nintendo.

I've been a Xbox loyalist for the most part, owning all the Xboxes and only having a PS2. I think I'm leaning towards going blue next gen.

I feel the same way. I was also thinking about getting that PS4 bundle but like you said I'll wait until the PS5 comes out.
I've always liked the the Xbox better. From day one with the original Xbox, it's a better system. Anytime a game is released on both systems, people buy the Xbox version but this generation Sony blew them out with first person titles. This whole generation has been shit. Most of the good games were remasters. This generation wasn't that good for Sony either but Microsoft was basically out of the game.
