Kaepernick will work out for NFL teams in Atlanta

Kaep won't even have NFL receivers to throw too, on a Saturday. OBJ plays tomorrow maybe him and Jarvis will fly out and help him out since he is off. But then they will say its OBJ he caught trash from Eli and Baker.

They are setting him up to fail. Notice on a Tuesday how do they know he doesn't have plans on Saturday.

That bust WR Kevin White, former Bears 1st rounder in 2015 is on the market after the Cards cut him prior to the final 53 man roster was set. Maybe Kaep's people could contact his people. I saw that Chris Carter's son, Duron was cut from his CFL team too. There are scrubs out here for Kaep to throw to.

I don't know how to feel about this.
It just comes off like some sort of Big Buck "showcase".
All of which Kaepernick seem to be against.
But that's probably just ME being overly analytical with a historical perspective.

And some of Y'all tell me if I'm wrong here.
But aren't most of these Coaches going to be preparing for all the games Sunday anyway?
So isn't this going to be more a GM's audition?

I want to know where he will get receivers from they are either working or preparing to work. Besides the bye teams, Browns and Steelers, most of the bye teams, their star relievers are all hurt. Most High School games are over about 2pm, maybe the local schools can help him out.

I don't remeber Jay Cutler having a tryout, he walked out FOX Studios into a uniform and threw interceptions.

GMs go to the actual games also. The assistant GM or the 19 year old intern will be there.

Please stop holding out hope that Jay is in this for anyone but himself. Remember his words we have to move past kneeling and protest off the field
Maybe this is his way of moving past it. Its not like Jay haven't been trying to help people.

Look what he help do for Meek and others. Why would you be so sure he not advocating for Kap behind the scenes?

I know Jay. He’s about himself and self preservation

Do ya know if jay and his camp are involved
Judging from Eric Reid’s comments he does.
“if someone sticks a knife in your back and pulls it out 6 inches it’s still a knife in your back” which is a dumb comparison.
maybe Eric Reid just jumped the gun.

Any friend will do that same after all the fuckery the NFL and NFLPA has done the last 3 years on this issue.

Nah any friend wouldn’t do the same cause everyone’s different. . Some people might react first and some people think first then react accordingly.

You know Jay? Well just ask him and see what he says then.

I dont know him so i can only judge what he been doing in regards to others. Got 21 Savage legal team together, help Meek get free, prison reform activism, building wells in Africa, etc.

How does any of that reflect he is only about himself?

Wait you know jay z

Not all that was said he did in media was actually done

After over three years without being granted an NFL workout, Kaepernick was given only two hours to either accept or decline the offer on Tuesday, while a select group of reporters was tipped off by the NFL days before.

In fact, Kaepernick’s camp’s request to move the event to a Tuesday was denied. He was also told his reps would receive a list of the teams confirmed to attend before the league changed course.
In other words, he won’t even know if it’s worth it until he shows up.
Although Kaepernick initially agreed to attend, it’s becoming less likely he will.
However, he could just throw his hands up and use this farce as a chance to prove he’s better than some current NFL quarterbacks.
But be prepared for various unnamed sources to leak that he looked bad through hand-picked NFL reporters no matter how he performs.
The NFL wins either way. If he says yes -- knowing that no team is actually willing to sign him as they could have worked him out privately long before now -- then the NFL gave him a chance. If he says no, it provided him a shot, which he refused.

The NFL also insisted that the event be held on Saturday, when coaches and general managers are usually on the road or preparing for Sunday games, instead of a Tuesday when such workouts are usually held.

NFL teams confused by league’s scheduling of Colin Kaepernick workout
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 13, 2019, 7:03 PM EST

NFL teams routinely work out unsigned players, and so any team that wanted to could have worked out Colin Kaepernick at any time since he became a free agent two and a half years ago. So it’s confusing why the NFL is now, out of the blue, arranging for Kaepernick to have a workout.

It’s confusing to those on the outside, and it’s confusing to NFL teams as well. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, several executives with NFL teams have said they’re confused by the purpose of the NFL scheduling the Kaepernick workout.

Schefter also reports that after the NFL initially told Kaepernick’s camp it would let him know in advance which personnel executives and coaches will attend the workout, the league is no longer planning to do that.

All of this feels like further evidence that the workout is a sham. If the NFL were serious about giving Kaepernick an opportunity to show what he can do, the workout could have been conducted in the offseason at a time when coaches and general managers were available to attend. Conducting the interview on a Saturday when most NFL teams are getting ready for a game the next day, and announcing it only days in advance, makes this workout appear to be something other than an honest attempt to give Kaepernick a fair shake.

all this additional f*ckery is what is making this thing seem a little FAKE to me.
