Trump disrespecting Vindeman, a resepcted military man, has opened the door for this. T.Rump has been more INTENTIONALLY disrespected to the military and intelligence community than Kaep ever was. He may not be signed after this workout, but if T.Rump loses at the ballot box, Kaep may get signed next offseason. The upcoming possibly available vet qb's are a mixed bag. Mariota and Winston still are the "Dafuq?" Level toooften. Bridgewater may never make it to free agency. Bengals might not release Dalton, but try to trade him. Cam may not be healthy until March and what's his salary gonna be. Kaep can be signed without having to worry about compensation. He probably won't command more than 8-10 million which is cap friendly.

It would be unrealistic to expect Kaep to come in and be ready to learn the offense to spark it. I would be coo with him competing for starting job going into 2020.
Something to think about is that Big Kap will have to come in and be 110% on the money with NO Mistakes whatsoever. He doesn't have the luxury of the cac QB to "learn the offense " or "adjust to the speed of the game " that a Cutler or a cac that hadn't played in like a year or two.
