Fuck that....

With the De-aging technology bring Morphis back...

The Wachowski Sisters have made some good movies so I think they took note of the SJW angle that killed Star Wars series.
Not sure I understand your point. Are you saying there were no "SJW" angles in the original trilogy? Cause the Matrix series were kind of built around them going by today's definition.

I see you have placed SJW in quotes so we have to have different meanings. I see SJW as a superset of many things, largely, gay and feminist ideas being the man culprits.

What do you mean?

PRODUCERS MUST HAVE LOVED THAT GAY SHIT IN HIS STRIKING VIPERS EPISODE OF BLACK MIRROR BUT AT LEAST A BLACK MAN WORKING...SO I GUESS ITS A WIN:dunno:

The cast of Matrix 4 has a new star. Actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who played Black Manta in 2018’s Aquaman, is set to star alongside returning actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann-Moss, according to Variety.

Variety’s sources report that Abdul-Mateen and other actors met with director Lana Wachowski over the past week, with Abdul-Mateen emerging as the director’s final choice.

Abdul-Mateen also previously starred in Jordan Peele’s Us as main character Adelaide’s father, in Baywatch as a police officer that rebuffs Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s actions, and as W.D. Wheeler in Hugh Jackman’s The Greatest Showman. Abdul-Mateen also had starring or minor roles in Black Mirror’s “Striking Vipers” episode, The Get Down, The Handmaid’s Tale, and in the upcoming Watchmen HBO series. Abdul-Mateen is also slated to play Candyman in the 2020 Jordan Peele adaptation.

We don’t yet know which character Abdul-Mateen will be playing, and sources haven’t told Variety anything either, but previous reporting has indicated that Matrix 4 will feature younger versions of Neo and Morpheus.

The Matrix 4 was only confirmed just last August, so it’s still early days when it comes to casting news. The film is being directed and written by Lana Wachowski. Fellow sister and filmmaker Lilly Wachowski is notably absent from the film’s production. The pair directed the original Matrix trilogy, which quickly became a cultural cinematic touchstone. Most of the original Matrix cast are said to be returning, but beyond Reeves and Ann-Moss, exact casting details are still sparse.

The planned Matrix 4 has found a trinity of actors between Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and a sought-after new addition to the cast.

Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the actor behind Black Manta in the DC superhero flick for Warner Bros., is deciding to take the red pill as he’s currently in talks for one of the lead roles in the sci-fi franchise’s fourth installment, EW has learned.

Plot and character details are under wraps at this time. Reps for Abdul-Mateen did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Lana Wachowski, who co-created the original Matrix films with sister Lilly Wachowski, will write, direct, and produce The Matrix 4. Reeves will return to star as Neo, opposite Moss as Trinity.

Wachowski pens the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.

“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now,” the director said in a previous statement. “I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”

In addition to Aquaman, Abdul-Mateen notably appeared recently in the “Striking Vipers” episode of Netflix’s Black Mirror with Anthony Mackie, as well as Jordan Peele’s horror film Us.

The actor also stars opposite Regina King in HBO’s Watchmen TV series, from producer Damon Lindelof, and he’s been cast as Hollywood’s new Candyman and in Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Abdul-Mateen didn’t comment on the casting. He simply shared a “Seez’n” Instagram post once word came out.

Probably a new version of Morpheus since Fishburne supposedly told them to kick rocks
