They're still doing that. The rainbow vacuum company.
How is the lotto a scam when people actually win? Just because the odds are shitty doesn’t mean it’s a scam.the lottery...
the "american dream"....
religion...
not necessarily in that order.....

Organized religion is the greatest con in the history of the world and has set black folks back for generations.
Still, I hate the hustle yet have to tip my hat to the hustler.
CHRISTIANITY...Bar None!

You have to allow some to win in order to keep the scam going... That's 1 of the greatest ways to motivate people to contribute... Also the payout shows perfectly why it's a scam.. They'll say you won 100 million only to get like 40 when it's all said and done.. Notice they don't push the after tax profit cause people wouldn't be as hyper to play it... Saying 100 mill is better than saying 40 millHow is the lotto a scam when people actually win? Just because the odds are shitty doesn’t mean it’s a scam.
lotto came from black people running numbers etc.. They stopped black money... Yes they don't want nigs to make money and flip it and took the concept and turned it into a multi-billion a yr bizx1. Disproportionately...the people who can least afford to play [poor people]...are the ones who are playin' the most...and spending money that could be used on necessities...
2. Disproportionately...the people who work at the convenience stores win more often than the average person...and rarely does the government investigate that....and when a journalist or investigative reporter asks lottery officials about that issue...the lottery officials get angry at the JOURNALIST...
3. The government says the money goes to education...when it either doesn't...or for every dollar they put into the education budget....they take a dollar or more out and allocate it somewhere else...so there is no net gain...and sometimes there's even a net loss of money..in the education budget...
4. And as you mentioned...the odds are shitty...but most people cannot comprehend how shitty those odds are...you are more likely to have a vending machine fall on you and kill you...or becoming an astronaut....or winning an oscar...or being struck by lightning multiple times...
5. The government outlawed it when the mob was runnin' it....but then turned around and made it legal for them to run 'em...
I'm probably missin' some reasons...or maybe things have gotten better....since I last read up on it....i jus decided long ago...i was never gonna play...
If you enjoy playin'...and you have the discretionary income to do so...then i'm not here to rain on your parade....
This dude hit Google for millions of dollars by sending them bills for shit that didn't exist.Fucking genius but greedy as fuck.
Buying drinks at a club/bar at a 500% markup.
After being a bartender a few years ago, I rarely buy drinks anymore.
I learned so many scams and ways to trick patrons behind the bar.
People just do realize how badly they get fucked and don't even realize it.
Its hard to call GFM a scam when people willing give their money to it.Also, GoFundMe. Digital begging; never thought I’d see the day so many folks would part ways with non-tax deductible donations for absolute strangers. What’s worse is that there’s no shame in many people setting up GFM for any variety of bullshit. It’s almost the de facto hustle when someone is hurt or killed; tv promotes it “a GFM has been setup”.....and the family, or a “friend” has the GFM online even before the coroner has picked up the body to transport to the morgue. Shameful.

I mean, anybody can ask you for something but you have to go there on your own to give it to them.
Just don't go fund them, right?![]()
They're still doing that. The rainbow vacuum company.
Goes back to big bizz.. They created the concept of wedding rings(debeers) as a sign of love and push the concept of diamond rings as the materialistic icon for it... Than many other genres of business hopped on the wave and created various segments that benefit off of weddings... Honeymoon getways, wedding cakes, wedding dresses, tuxedos, transportation /limo, catering services, rental halls, churches, photographers... So many businesses benefiting off of two individuals relationships that had nothing with them linking up or keeping them together..if they breakup/divorce nobody giving them rebates...only there to make a profit off the celebration...why does amerikkka pushing marriage so much cause so many companies make money off of it... Multi-million dollar bizz... Hell there's even a business venture for divorces... Anniversariesbiggest scam? Easy:

Fair enough; guess my point then should be that the platform, GFM, is not the scam, but it is a conduit that allows any number of scams/cons to be perpetuated. Its hard to call GFM a scam when people willing give their money to it.

Why didn't you just say that in the first place instead of trying to insult the merchandise?
What do you want to see?
What are your measurements?
What style do you want?
Do you want store brand, name brand, or custom make?
What color do you like?
What kind of pelts do you want (Iceland, Spanish, Scottish/English, American, Argentina, Uruguay, Australian)?
But, most importantly, what is your budget?
All you have is empty hands and empty beliefs.
I have the furs and the facts.
Tell me about it. Those fuckers are set to pay out only like 17 percent of what they take in.
Used to hear some horror stories of those conmen door-2-door salesmen who would sell overpriced vacuums to seniors, and/or scout out their homes for future robberies. I.E. - asking the right questions to realize they didn't have family or friends checking on them too frequently. Promising delivery of said vacuums in the $1200 - 1800 range (this is back in the late-80s or early-90s) and being paid right on the spot by way of cash or check. Then running the scam minutes later to additional unsuspecting victims.
Or just a cashier that doesn't look at the price of what she rings up …. only listens for the beep from the register indicating that it's been scanned. You need an inside man to do that shit.
Once you get in and start pulling dirt from their carpet and mattress, it was a wrap. Call the finance company and boom, you're approved.
Kirby $1800 vacuums …. they still selling them shits …. when I first brought my house they came in and did a demonstration....Used to hear some horror stories of those conmen door-2-door salesmen who would sell overpriced vacuums to seniors, and/or scout out their homes for future robberies.
