All these pro teams leaving a great historic city like Oakland is symbolic of the gentrification and wealth transfer currently going on in our country right now. The people of Oakland deserve better. Nobodys talkin bout it in the sports media either.

I've been a life long Raiders and Warriors fan. had season tickets and everything. That said, i'm looking for new teams to be a fan of. IMO both teams will flounder in their new markets when novelty of their new stadiums wear off. SF is a city of transplants. They won't support a losing Warriors. I don't see folks leaving the Vegas strip to watch a garbage NFL team either. Time will tell.

The crowd looked very white to me at the start of the game. But I wasn't scrutinizing it in the same way before. Obviously this was a more affluent audience but how much whiter was it than last year's?
Also, would the Oakland crowd have stayed through that? I cut the game off in the third watching on DVR with no traffic to beat. Once they were down 20 again, it was a wrap. (I say this not even knowing when the fans left since I'd cut it off but I feel like it would be reasonable to hit the exits around the 6 minute remaining mark.)
