I’ll watch based on this trailer and cuz it’s Denzel son. But I’m skeptical what Chris Nolan will do. If afraid I’ll fall asleep on it.

As much as I LOVE what Nolan does (The Prestige is one of my favorite films of all time, and I went to see The Dark Knight twice and Inception twice, Interstellar had me in tears thinking about my daughter) there was a nagging part in my head that thought... where are all the black people in all his films (other than Morgan Freeman)?
So me and wifey go to the movies on a date night to see Hobbs and Shaw. We sit down and I just had a moment where I said - why wont Hollyhood take a fucking risk and put a black face on a big budget sci-fi flick and showcase it and then BAM... this shit plays.
Wifey just looked at me like how the hell did that just happen?

Folks in the theatre was like ohh shit, what the fuck is this! Nobody knows what’s going on and they barely showed anything but when the car flips and them flips again and starts driving again - we were shook. It has something to do with the ability to manipulate time.

If you close your eyes and listen, he sounds like Denzel when he talks...i dont know if thats intentional or if that's just how he sounds, but he does...
Coogler and Nolan - prob my two favorite directors right now...
I used to think he did as well but now I've seen/heard him acting so much that I don't really see it anymore.
I mean he obviously looks and sounds like his pops but not enough that its prevented him from seperating himself with his work.
I'll be looking out for it
