I have asked NFL fans this on various forums and got "crickets" in response: When the 2016 season started, how many fans said to themselves,"Damn, my team's starting qb ain't shit, I wish we could replace him with Kaep."
If T.Rump is voted out in 2020, it might increase Kaep's chances of getting a camp invite. He shouldn't be too proud to go to the XFL. Even against scrubs, show what skills he has or hasn't left. His most recent game tape is 'meh.'
Upside isn't experienced instant and consistent productivity like Kap could provide to most teams. Dobbs isn't ready.
The sad thing is that even then an older Kap would still be a better option than these trash ass QBs these teams dig up.

Funny. Every other qb in the NFL, even Tom Brady, fans can point out their good and "what the fuck?" games. How come Kaep is the only one whose "what the fuck?" games are glossed over? It's as if he never had any. Not saying he shouldn't get a shot, but the Kaepernikists act is if he never had sucky games. Every qb that has ever played in the NFL has had one or more of those.

Co-sign. It’s definitely over for Kap. The only way he gets a roster spot is if the league get a black owner who signs Kap himself. No going through the teams GM or anyone else.
I think people still talk about him due to the narrative that it was about his skill (or lack there of). It was really put out there that has wasn’t good. Yet you see transactions like this. A guy who lost his backup job and is now 3rd string gets traded for.
Remember Baltimore put it out there that Kap didn’t fit what they did offensively. Then they turn around a year later and not only sign RG3 but draft Lamar Jackson as well.
It’s a continued conversation shooting down all of those false narratives.
He is only 31. For a QB, that is prime career territory. These teams would rather lose than have Black mem stand-up for themselves.

I'm black. Doug Williams was one of my favorite athlete ever. He had some good to great games as a pro and some stinkers. I know about Jekyl and Hyde qb play, I've been Bears fan for 37 years. For every time McMahon, Harbaugh,Kramer, Walsh,Miller,Grossman,Orton,Cutler and Trubisky has kicked defenses asses, they've played shitty on the field too. Every qb that has laced them up has. Yet we're to believe that Kaep has never had a poor game or games in his career? Come the fuck on. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be on a roster though. Both things can be true.
