Jay-Z sounding real coonish at this NFL event

And lets pretend they are.. How the fuck is being pissed and telling a cop "fuck you" justification for being murdered!!!?? Even if we believe the framing he presents, it assigns all the responsibility to the mad CHILD and none to the trained professional ADULT.

@DJCandle , you my youngin hometeam, but you re fuckin buggin on this one.

Man..

And anytime anybody finds himself siding with a Who’s Who of BGOL Sambos, it may be time to course correct.

Hey can yall help me out here...this maybe a little off topic

but..

who the fuck is Epstein?? and who would benefit from him being
dead?

and why is jay z and the nfl more important then trafficking children by the super rich and wealthy...to be used for sex and lord knows what else....

and why are we so easily mind fucked by their news stories...???

The word SIDING WITH may have given it away
"siding with" is two words idiot. And it was two words of a 20 word sentence that clearly articulated a point. It was also preceded by these two words "finds himself".. "Finds himself" implies that there was in fact NO choosing you fucking moron.

You think that "siding with " and "picking sides" don't mean tbe same thing. I think we're done here. Nothing else needs to be said. Once again you have shown yourself to be sans brains

Notice this isn't in a mainstream paper and all over social media , so you wouldn't KNOW about it. Instead of SEEKING information , you just wait for media to BRING it to you, so you'll believe whatever you're fed. Maybe if the white boy, Shaun King posted it, or Tariq, you would know.
exiledking you must be white. Our tax dollars paid for the genocide of blacks in Libya, and we just had a race war in New Orleans covered by katrina. And I guess you thought Jonestown was a religious organization. It was a mind control experiment and an experiment on how to infiltrate and disrupt black organizations. It worked well in Rwanda. And the only way South Africa will own their own land is to stand toe to toe with the whites there before it is to late. We are all suffering a subtle suicide if we do nothing.
The experiment of Tuskegee was moved to a poor country. And they will not willingly reveal the truth about what that was really about. We must obtain a piece of this earth that will not be ruled by a white reality. And there is no white person on this earth that can tell me there is no difference in the genes of whites and blacks. One is original and the other is not.

I made the mistake of talking to you once. You don't even attempt to make sense

There's definitely an agenda involved

Twitter is dumbing down society. People can't take news and information in beyond 60-90 second clips and people don't research anything.

Someone posted it, it has a headline it had a click bait title. It is what it is...it's true

Good reply

Bruh, its not just twitter that is dumbing down society.. You can add abc, cbs, nbc, cnn, fox, msnbc, the majority of these social media platforms..

Your right, people hate reading so research is out of the question.. Ill keep saying this until people figure it out.. The truth is hidden in between the lines and the lie is pumped thru your television set, laptop, tablet and smartphones.. The lie is glamorized and put on a colorful screen, the truth is laughed at and frowned upon!! Its all by designed too..

I am confused. Using white people money to fund things in your community to better your peoples living conditions is cooning?

Sounds like winning to me. The gay community and every other community does the same thing but we as black people seem to have issues with it. Almost like we want to be oppressed

Bruh, I have no idea what your talking about.. We were talking about the media

Do you actually think that’s why black men and women are regularly brutalized and murdered by police, though? Because many of us emerge from single parent households?

Not at all. Nowhere did I say, infer or mention that as the sole reason for our problems. If I did, that’s my mistake, but I don’t recall saying that. If that’s what you took from it, cool, but I and many others didn’t.

To that point again, it’s not the SOLE reason for such things, because capitalism and white supremacy far outweigh that notion, but it does play a huge part in how a child is raised and goes on to function in society..

Which was the initial point from an augmented clip.

How about prior to the 60s then, when single motherhood wasn’t as statistically problematic in black communities? And what about the myriad other abuses to which we’ve been subjected for hundreds of years? How bout Jim Crow, can we blame angry black youth for that? It’s crazy to me how people think that our current state of familial dysfunction was borne out of nothingness, as opposed to being designed by people who have historically (and presently) raped, imprisoned, murdered and enslaved us.

Again, I never inferred or stated anything of this nature. Like I stated above, white supremacy and capitalism take center stage for these things mentioned, and the only saving grace is what we teach our kids at home. And if said home can be a strong as possible, why not?

If you’re still trying to figure out what Jay-Z owes black folks, it’s simple: not to help displace black families for .001% of ownership in a basketball team, not to publicly submarine pro-black protesters or diminish their cause, and not to be a mealy-mouthed apologist for racist, murderous cops.

Meanwhile he’s organizing for criminal justice reform, bailing BLM protesters out of jail, supplying legal help for black victims of racism, speaking out about injustice, putting out documentaries that are pertinent to us.. etc etc.

We can go tit for tat all day long, but I’d rather not. You’re free to view this glass half empty as much as you’d like. That’s your right and I’m certainly not trying to change your mind about it. I simply don’t agree with this faux backlash towards someone whose trying to help us when he doesn’t have to. If there were certain eggs that were broken to make an omelette, that’s just what it is, but I’d prefer to keep my eyes squarely on the final plate than the egg shells.

We can always agree to disagree and keep it moving.

I'm not sure what people expect from an uneducated man who made a fortune rapping about selling drugs to his own people.

Kat's claimed "It's just entertainment".

Words have meaning...but then again, you can get away with being a coon just as long the words are slick and the beat is dope.

Again fam, I didn't take that as the message being put-forth so I can’t make that assessment. We’re seeing one message through two different lenses.

But to go off onto your tangent for a second, let’s be clear... none of the responsibility is ever taken off a professional adult. Never. The onus is always on the “trained, professional police officer” everyday of the week to deal with these situations accordingly, regardless of how a ill mannered a child is raised.

That being said, I quote that because we know the realities of what we face. All the training and professionalism in the world isn’t gonna stop these racist pigs regardless of what American dream people were sold and believe. So in facing those realities on a day to day basis, I’d much rather two functioning parents reiterate those possibilities into a child than one.

Lol o like this kinda talk. Uneducated huh? Ok now, let me.watch and see what you say when someone "uneducated" does or says something you like.

LeBron is "uneducated". All he did was play ball. Same level as Hov. He started a school and speaks his mind on politics.

That's an interesting take , how people become "uneducated"

Video of Jay-Z discussing what he sees as social justice issues earlier this year has resurfaced online, prompting some people on social media to claim that footage may have been the first hint that he planned to team up with the NFL. The footage from a media event with New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft, Van Jones and others was the latest ammunition for people who have been upset with Jay’s partnership with the NFL that many have said undercut Colin Kaepernick’s own social justice movement against the pro football league.

In the video from January, which didn’t seem like a big deal at the time, Jay — along with rapper Meek Mill, Kraft, Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, Brooklyn Nets co-owner Clara Wu Tsai and others to launch the Reform Alliance to address criminal justice issues — spoke about topics that, especially in retrospect, seemed to run counter with many things the rapper has espoused in his lyrics.

At the time, Jay seemed to blame single parent households for negative police relations with Black people, defended jailing with discretion and sympathized with “hard working” taxpayers who pay for jails.

Nevermind how Jay-Z has rapped extensively about his single mother raising him and his own exploits as a drug
kingpin years ago. Does that mean he thinks he should be jailed?

That irony was not missed by folks on social media after they saw the video.

Of course, those fateful words came one month before Kaepernick — the free agent quarterback who claims the NFL blacklisted him for his silent kneeling protest during the playing of the national anthem to bring attention to police brutality against Black people — settled with the league and withdrew his grievance.

Several months later, Jay was gleefully meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to announce their partnership in the name of social justice because, as the rapper said, they have moved “past kneeling,” something many people took as a swipe at Kaepernick. The kneeling would be replaced by “actionable items,” Jay said vaguely at the time.

Watch the full press event below. Jay speaks at the 55:20 mark.

If any of these clowns had.said this in JANUARY when it happened, I'd buy this fake.outrage. But in January, everybody was team.Jay. This is bogus

Now now, dont cherrypick lil buddy. If you gonna hone in on the "uneducated" part, be sure to attach the part about how he become rich and famous as well. The guy included that in totality for a reason. Now if you can point to amoral or immoral behaviors and celebrations of criminality from Lebron then sobeit. Otherwise, .... Nah....:tut:

I was surprised this was a January event. I thought it was something more recent.

To be fair, I think the NFL deal and how Jay handled the press conference made people look at the totality of all his statements both current and past.

Jay is definitely playing a long game of some sort (probably NFL ownership). We will have to wait and see if the black power movement will get any benefit out of this.

The part that is being cast out as a NEGATIVE is being uneducated. And if you wanna.throw the part about being adrug dealer, ok, let's play.

Malcolm X was way less "educated" and a convicted felon for being a pretty thief.

I just think those qualifiers are goofy and hard for the person using them to be consistent. And it's all because TODAY ,. You don't like a clip of what he said. This same.clip was out in January and we didn't hear a word from you guys. Same "uneducated " guy, and nobody said shit. He's right up there with Meek Mill, who's also an uneducated Drug dealer , and everyone was all FREE MEEK. Well the uneducated guy, along with the white people in tbe room helped got the guy out of acase that strung along his life since he was 19. And none of these people talking TODAY have done that.

I won't. Get into all the business moves and "educated" people this guy has put to work and made money for. We all know "education" ain't tbe end all. Cut the shit. Talk about cherry picking.

The "black power movement"? HUH?

There's no Black power Movement that's hung up for 3 years talking about the NFL.

This "movement " will getf from Jay whatever he feels like as a person with money to fund something he finds important. Up to now , he's already got things he likes to work on. But in the NFL it's business. Why the hell are people looking to football for something to do with the police?

Wait wait wait,,,, i thought we were talking about LeBron? Had to switch huh?

And when did Malcolm X glorify debauchery and crime to gain riches and fame? o_O
You said don't "cherry pick" I'm talking about uneducated. LeBron is still on there but I guess since he wasn't a drug dealer you thought you had something. We can do this all day. You know how many "u educated people go on to create businesses and leaders of companies and people? That's just a shaky tightrope to walk.

AGAIN, if someone wants to be taken seriously NOW,. Show me where that same.person was saying this when it came out. You won't find it, cuz then, everybody was up Hovs ass. Over the EXACT SAME.WORDS.

As far as Malcolm promoting debauchery, he wasn't a rapper , but even in his book be TELLS you how debaucherous be was. He was literally a PIMP at one point.

Yes. Again, his sentence didnt conclude with a comment on education. It included gaining riches and fame by glorifying felonious exploits. So any accurate comp would have to include those. Thus, LeBron, NOR Malcolm fit the bill. Troll on tho.

I know your personal belief is that the whole NFL protest thing is stupid. However, I feel that you are refusing to see the big picture about why some people don't like this deal.

Jay Z got this job because people won't shut up about Colin. If there was no Colin, there would be no Jay Z producing gig, period. You have NFL fans clamoring for the return of Colin to the NFL, yet you have owners pretty much telling folks that they can't appease the black fans, because the white fans will be offended. Then they say Colin sucks, yet you see plenty of shitty white quarterbacks getting full time gigs. Instead of giving Colin a chance to fuck up, they decide to keep him out the league and give Jay Z a job instead. Then Jay Z basically says fuck Colin, it's time to move on so I can get my money, just makes the whole thing look bad, and doesn't really address one the main controversies, getting Colin back into the league.

As to your other point, no football is not going to stop bad policing, but real protesting is about disrupting money, and/ or using every and any means available to make your issue heard. When Colin started kneeling EVERYBODY was talking about it, which was one of the main goals of Colin.

They do you just don't want it to. Again, using uneducated when ya don't like something someone is doing is kinda lame and not easy to.stay consistent with.

I believe it and it's proven to be true.

The fake boycott was nsignificant. The players aren't gonna. They only kneeled a day or two. Two active players are left and one of em sucks at his jobso he won't keep it up. Kaep ain't playing. Yes, he got people TALKING and if talking was your goal then sure.

So I ask directly, do you think we will be talking about Jay-Z if a number of fans weren't pissed off about Colin not playing? I mean it came up multiple times during the press conference. The fact that the NFL made this reactionary move really shows you that a large part of the fanbase is not happy with Colin not playing.

If Colin sucks as bad as you say, bring into training camp, play in the pre-season. If he looks like shit, you cut him. I think the NFL is afraid that he will look decent and it would hard to cut him for legit reasons.

It's funny how you ignore the fact that quarterbacks with worse stats than Colin constantly find work.

I do think that dude kneeling and the PR from it set up tbe opportunity for Jay to do this.

So.in the end , Colina protest got Jay Z some business to add to his portfolio that it would've taken longer to get . And it got Colins Nike contract upped to one that actual WINNERS get.

But does it do anything for tbe supposed "black power mpvenent"? No.

Colin is now bitching more about his job than what he started with. A job with the corporation he has identified as racist. And has settled aawsuit with. I'm.not ignoring that he is better than. Some who are playing. None of the teams want him. Not based on playing but the rest of their customers that y'all are ignoring who just ain't gonna see it the way you do. And that's the REAL FAKE POWER. You think you can force them to.

Colin himself has never called or implied that the NFL racist as far as I recall. His girl on the other hand has said it directly or indirectly. To that point, if we are going to punish people for what others say, Miko Grimes should have been killed Brent Grimes' career. Miko was way worse than Nessa when talking out of turn, so to speak. It seems like Brent has pretty much retired on his own terms at this point (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...-says-feels-disrespected-tampa-bay-buccaneers).

None of the teams want him. Not based on playing but the rest of their customers that y'all are ignoring who just ain't gonna see it the way you do. And that's the REAL FAKE POWER. You think you can force them to.

NFL bringing in Jay Z shows they are having a problem with ignoring the fans who want to see Colin play. The fact they chose to do this shows that the NFL teams are feeling pressure from somewhere to get this Colin issue to go away. To me, this proves that the NFL is taking some sort of hit over the Colin thing.

To be honest, we will never know if all 32 teams really wanted to keep him out of the NFL. Is is the possibility a couple of teams would have given him a chance, if the collective would have allowed it.

As to your other point, no one talks about the NFL pledging to give some money to black causes (not sure why). As far as the black power movement is concerned, they should be looking for that check that the NFL promised to write, if nothing else.

As a side note to an earlier point you made, the kneeling thing went away because the NFL and the networks decided to stop airing the anthem during regular season games. I also believe that players are allowed to stay in the locker room when the anthem is played is they so choose (unless you play for the Cowboys..lol). It didn't necessarily flame out like you are suggesting.

I made the mistake of talking to you once. You don't even attempt to make sense
Sorry to hear that but we do realize that when people have let another group of people to do the thinking for them for generations and finally some people begin to think for themselves then it would sound strange. One day it will be different. Jesus spoke against the popular known version of the truth. He was right but the only way that would agree with him was if they killed him and narrated the story themselves.
It is very easy to see you are white and have no idea about the truth of a lot of things you may say. You are supporting your race and it shows. But your infiltration of fools seem normal but I am being myself and there is a lot of proof of what I say. And I represent something that all whites are naturally against. Even though there is a lot of proof people will ignore the truth if they see power in lies.

Looking at when this was done in January and the fact that Jay-Z was getting acts to not to play the halftime show seems to go along with this more than anything. The NFL owners don't care about Colin as much as they care about not being able to find acts who will perform. That showed that Jay-Z was the one that had the power in the music industry and they know that they couldn't get away with having country acts or going to Maroon 5 especially considering that so many Black Acts turned them down. Remember now, they wanted to do an entire Atlanta set, but Jay was like "Nah" so they couldn't do that. Earlier in a clip, Van Jones said nothing these movements would have moved forward without "art", while this is partially true, the bus boycott started hitting people in the pockets and the only thing the people in power see is green. These bus companies started losing money so they went to the legislators and said "nah, yall gotta fix this"...this is why Colin is not in the league, because the people that say they dont want him in the league have more power(economically) than the people that do..it basically comes down to money

Every brotha in this thread that is complaining is dead wrong. You have not even given the man a chance or even know what the scope of the program and plans are.

Also what is this slave mentality thinking that a “white man” allows a brotha to become wealthy or a billionaire. You Brothas actually said and co-signed saying ain’t no white man going to allow a brotha to become a billionaire without compromising him.

That is the true definition of cooning.
