1. The name Black Girl Online denotes two things upon hearing: 1) porn site 2) gossip site. The first being correct. I would recommend that you re-market yourself entirely away from the these two perceptions and change the official name to "Black Guys Online" instead. This name could be understood to mean a place where men gather and talk sports, women, and business, politics, etc. It fits because that is exactly what BGOL is. The acronym BGOL would remain intact.

Personally I’m cool... Even before this The Fonz saw the writing on the wall.. it’s one of the reasons why I’ve been pushing people to get use to posting shit in the basement.

That it is possible to do this but still have NSFW tags in posts on the new main board. As long as the posts contain tags that can only be seen by members who click the contents.. those contents shouldn’t be indexed by google. It’s the same content that i was talking to you about when it comes to lurker proof content.

I still think that ultimately the best way to drive more paying members is a mixture of the new board but with posts that contain content that the OP can set for a certain type of member.

Like if I don’t want a 15 day member to be able to view content ... I can put that setting in place or if I don’t want a member with a post total less then 1000 to view content.. it’s in the setting. When I was checking out the xenforo forum.. I saw these types of extensions available for a forum. So I know they are out there.

These type of extensions would give people the ability to still be BGoL on the new board, force new members to engage not lurk, and allow you to get around googles hurdles.

If you are showing Pussy, Ass, or Tits, you cannot use google adsense. As a publisher you have to protect your adsense account, once they cancel the account, it's hard to get re-instated.

You should be able to get you sex fix on in what use to be the main board.

Spoiler tags still appear in google... That's why I moved the premium thread to the basement.

I think the trick is to Lurker proof the content.. So the only way to see the content is to click a link in the thread.

Utilize social media. Open up advertisements again. Do something that will bring more pervs to this site
Reddit, TheColi, Boxden, etc all have their niches, and have not deviated away from them as they have expanded. BGOL will never attract their audiences, so trying to get similar ad revenue may not be a profitable move after it all shakes out

@godofwine all I need is for everyone to take one for the team, help me make the new forum pop, it will probably take 4-6 months maybe less. Then everything will be back to normal. The old board will still be here after yall help me establish the new board. We have been together for damn near 20 years, 4-6 months won't kill you. I just want the new members to see an active website and get the BGOL vibe.

I'm going to have a steady ad promotion program to attract Men and Woman 35+, once I get that going real good everyone can return to the old board that's mostly male.

I had a guy complaining about running targeted ads on Facebook for Men and Woman 35+, that didn't make sense to me, Once we get it going and the traffic gets nice, we can make the main forum just like it used to be and the new forum will be it's own entity. It will be the financial engine that supports the entire website.
