One of the few shows that I rank up there. Couldn't wait for it to come back.

I like intelligent writing. The show is just that.
Unpredictable as well.
It's a good show, if you don't like it from the first few episodes of Season 1 then idk. A lot of my friends are hooked on it.

first episode was good. The family reminds me of working at the office when corporate visits and all the kiss ass boot lickers come out in full force.

I dont think so. Some people really do love what they do and define themselves by their job. His character seems to fit that mold.
At best he would only let go if one of the kids took it from him. Taking the company by force is the only way to prove you earned the right to lead and prove the company is in good hands. Even then he'd still probably be calling the shots from the shadows.

corporate culture --especially at the higher levels --is so rife with toxicity and obsequiousness it's crazy.
my wife used to be the right hand to a crazy female CEO at a fashion label, and she said the levels of disrespect that she watched full grown women endure just to keep their 6 figure incomes was unbelievable. that old woman used to viciously verbally abuse all these white women for fun in front of everybody, have them crying and having mental breakdowns and shit.
Because everyone who laughed knew it could have easily been them. Also outside of immediate family who is brave enough to say shit to Shiv's husband?

I'm curious what will happen with Ken. I may have forgotten one but this is the second time he has come through for the company this season.
Shiv proves she's not as smart as she think she is. Plus I dont see Logan really leaving his company to a woman. It feels like Logan is really grooming Ken for the role and was using Shiv to push ken.
Logan was testing her...to see how she would carry it.
She broke The Godfather rule...never say what you’re thinking around strangers. She’s most likely out....or being groomed by being taught that lesson.
Ken saved the fucking day once again and nobody will know it.
I think Logan already made up his mind when the families first met....Nan was wearing sunglasses. Bitch wasn’t about real business. It wasn’t audible, but it seemed like Rhea told Logan to go home at the helicopter meeting. He “knows” Rhea. This ep displayed the contrast of families, the Roys are dysfunctional af compared to that refined shit. But the Roys have the power. I got a hunch Rom’s twisted ass will end up take the realms. Vulgarity and dysfunction is what got them to where there are. Great show.
Edit: And I finally got someone to root for on this show. Lol

I never saw that angle. Without a doubt the other family’s recon was better.

Finally caught up on this show and I'm hooked.
And its a relief to see I'm not the only one who can't get over Shiv's ass/thighs.
I've lost count of the number of times I've been caught off guard by that ass and had to pause/rewind.
You can tell by the change of the opening credits (focusing on a young Shiv instead of Ken) that Shiv is getting to get the same treatment that Ken got from Logan last year.
Its like he focuses his attention and praise on one kid in order to use the jealousy and greed of the siblings in order to keep them off balance so that they combine forces to really take over the business.
It also seems to light a fire under and motivate them.
