It seems the Fire Pro series gets no love on BGOL. Not the best graphics but deep customization and CAW options are outstanding. The game play is fun and you can sim great tournaments. I have downloaded every ring texture from the territory and kayfabe games.

The only thing the game lacks on the console version is the battle royal option is limited to just 8 combatants:(. However on the PC version you can have up to as many as possible:yes:.

Has any of the 2k games include a training mode? The ones I borrowed didn't have a training mode.
I don't think the learning curve is that steep. The last training mode I know of was last gen. The controls are basically right stick + O=PS4 or B=XB1. You can adjust the sliders to how often the AI reverses to how often someone runs in prematch, during match, & post match. So you can set the game sliders to learn the gameplay.

I need to find a copy of that game. I stopped fucking with the smackdown games after the first one. I heard HCTP is the shit.
HCTP is the best wrestling game since WWF No Mercy. I would rank SVR 11 3rd just based on how much fun I had online with friends. Austin Creed & Tyler Breeze have a ongoing GM mode series a long with playing the career mode on UpUpDownDown.

Edit Gm mode is from 2006.

I love it. I just never have the time to edit it properly how I want. Will take me forever.

Could be good or really bad.

2K And Yuke's Split On WWE Franchise

https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/08/06/2k-and-yukes-split-on-wwe-franchise

Over the last 20 years, Japanese developer Yuke's have been the main developer behind all World Wrestling Entertainment-licensed games under THQ and, after the publisher's closure, 2K Games. Today, Yuke's and 2K confirmed that further WWE titles in the WWE2K series, starting with WWE 2K20, will no longer be developed by the Osaka-based studio.

Website Video Games Chronicle received a statement from 2K confirming the news. For the past few titles, Yuke's had been co-developing with Visual Concepts, based in Novato, California, which is now taking over the series as the lead studio. Visual Concepts also handles 2K's basketball series, NBA 2K, so it appears they will be transformed into a two-game studio.

Yuke's developers had been suggesting for a while that the time-pressure on WWE games was causing quality to suffer, an issue often brought up by fans of the games. The studio has been working on an original wrestling game alongside their WWE titles and also worked on the recent Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain.

I bought that fire pro wrestling game. That was on the ps2 back in 2007-08. That was the most disappointing and frustrating game ever. Disappointing because the dam menu and caw buttons were reversed. I would create a wrestler, and accidentally erase it by exiting out the menu. I never got used to the style of the game play either. That time based shit was not for me. I would eventually throw out my copy of the game.

The gameplay in these 2k games are NOTHING like the old AKI games. Grappling, running, pinning, etc... is so much more difficult to do now. And more than likely I have lost a step when it comes to gaming but the button configuration for moves is ridiculous.

I could not fuck with the 2K games because of the little circle mini-game to kick out of pins and submissions.

I would beat the shit outta the AI the whole match, then the muthafucka hits one reversal or some shit, pins me and I can't get the timing down to kick out because you only have like two seconds/two counts to figure it out, and then the little kick out bar moves on the second one - it's just crap.

That and the microtransactions in the story mode, basically handicapping your CAW until you build up his attributes and shit.

I'm good on all of that.

I hope WWE runs with the 24/7 title til infinity.

This shit is the most entertaining thing they are doing. Imagine going to a meet and greet and seeing this break out.

When Truth picks him up as if he was a child. LMAO.
