A collection of #ADOS Tweets from @KingTahara that no one cares about

Makes sense to me. If there is no option between red and blue worth voting for, then the options are voting another party candidate or just sit out until the next one.

ADOS will claim during the general election that there are no good candidates (Democrat that doesn’t support the ADOS movement sufficiently enough vs Trump) and will encourage all ADOS people to not vote to show their strength.

Guarantee it.

How in Amerikka's history has voting ever benefited Black People when in the entire history of this God-forsaken place no political candidate ever and I mean never ever had a Black Agenda. So, I'm one those people that will never believe Black folks died so we could have the right to vote. The biggest problem I have with that bullshit is that during that so-called time in his-story no candidates gave a single fuck about Black People so who was it we were dying to vote for? Come on, so here we are today when some critical thinking Black People that aren't a part of the chosen house nigga crew come up with something that will benefit the masses of #ADOS and not just any ole Black-skinned person and house nigga are up in arms about it! This is my opinion is the most pregnant moment in contemporary history where Black People that are #ADOS will really get to see who in the fuck really are our allies and who's bull shitting. We know Everybody wanna be Black until the Police show up!

Prior to the #ADOS taking off there was alot of gender warring in our community. ADOS has helped eradicate a lot of that and gotten young blacks more involved in the political process since the civil rights days.

It shouldnt surprise us that Democrats who promote gender division in the black community the hardest would be irate at black men AND women holding them politically accountable. My biggest beef with the Democrats right now is they dont promote unapologetic heterosexual black males in their party. Theyd rather craft policy to lock them up. Theres not 1 young black Democratic male black men can look to for inspiration right now. All the black Democrats of BGOL be throwin us under the bus not for black candidates but for white men and women candidates like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. :smh:

Cool. Are the Presidential candidates the only thing on those ballots or do they sometimes have local or state issues? Asking for a friend.

Might wanna check into that if you are going to advocate sitting out an entire election based on one voting section while there may be other issues that greatly impact our people on the local or state level. Maybe, if we are really for ADOS, and the many issues that are highlighting on the movement’s website, we would vote and advocate for other issues that could be implemented. I dunno, a tax on the local level to benefit HBCUs in that area or to fund early education centers. Just spit balling mayne. We should never advocate not voting. Even if we put Malcolm X on the ballot.

Probably better just to not vote on the Presidential candidate but still show up and vote on other issues.

Just my two cents brotha. Cause it looks like you are advocating our people to not vote on several issues that Republicans are voting on due to the Presidential vote.

If there are no other issues other than the Presidential race on the ballot then yes - trumpet staying home all day. Just don’t lead our People astray.

So hypothetically, supposed Republicans win the election for presidency 2020, what's the next step?

Is the next step to sit for 3-4 years hoping a Democratic candidate who is pushing for reparations comes forward?

Is the next step to demand trump or whoever the Republican president is, to provide reparations?

If no Democratic candidate comes forth with a reparations agenda, will ADOS wait another 3-4 years?

I ask 3-4 years because it would appear ADOS only cares about the presidency.

Would no Democratic candidate prevent ADOS from voting on local/state legislation that may affect the community?

Supposed they do "Cut the check." what's monetary value that would suffice?

I ask because there are so many differing opinions on what a check could be.

Is it a lump sum? Is it free education? Is it not paying taxes? Is it land? Is it something else entirely?

Does the #ADOS movement have an approved plan on what reparations would be?

Would paying out reparations allow politicians to roll back programs that benefit the black community currently?

Who you voting for? Give ADOS a name? Why are you afraid to promote a candidate for 2020? There's no one on the bill you like so far? Or are you voting for Trump?

trump.

Since you're not demanding anything from Republicans, the subject is dead.

A party is more then one candidate.

For starters, since ADOS is only talking reparations with Dems, it must mean you already believe that the 2 parties are NOT the same.

With that said, since you believe the Dems are the ones who would/should get you reparations, putting them in power of the government is the ONLY way they would be in a position to get you what you want. Chances are Dems would need a majority if not a super majority to pull it off.

That means you should be voting more then ever before.

Even if its not the perfect candidate, nothing stops you from pressuring the Dems candidate once they already in.

Also, lets be real, cacs will vote Republican, even if the candidate means nothing to them, just to make sure reparations never happens. The only way to fight that is by voting "against" them too.

HBCU in Houston to host third Democratic presidential debates

The third round of Democratic presidential debates will be held at Texas Southern University, a historically black public university, on September 12 and 13, the university announced Sunday.

The event will be hosted by ABC News and Univision.

The Democratic National Committee announced the debate would be in Houston, Texas, earlier this month.

“As the heart and soul of Houston, Texas Southern University is proud to serve as the venue for for such a prestigious event,” TSU President Dr. Austin A. Lane said in a statement.

“Not only does this reflect positively on the university and the City of Houston, it also provides our students with opportunities to work directly with ABC and its partners to gain valuable experience throughout the process."

The first Democratic debate was held in Miami, Fla., and the second will be held in Detroit, Mich., over July 30th and 31.

To qualify for the third round of debates, White House hopefuls will have to amass 130,000 unique donors and receive the support of at least 2 percent of respondents in four qualifying polls.

The third debate being held at a historically black university is significant, given the efforts on many candidates to more specifically focus on issues affecting African Americans.

These questions have been asked & asked & asked.

You get no answers. You'll get tweets.

You'll get called an islander. You'll get called pro-white.

But you sure as shit won't get any intelligible responses.

The major candidates have ALL said that their #1 priorities were either fag rights or illegal immigrants.

So if you're not a fag, your boyfriend Enrique probably is...
why are you riding so hard for the dems again?

If ADOS is not your thing, then why come in this thread 35 pages later?

If you have any questions, go to ados101.com.

Call in or tweet questions to Yvette or Tone.

They are pretty easy to get in-touch with.....

Maybe your questions are unanswered because you want them to be unanswered?

:dunno:

You are wasting logical thinking on that one.

I’m sure you already figured out most in this thread aren’t serious about ADOS/reparations. It’s their cover.

They keep saying republicans will win 2020 and present NOTHING on how to advance their agenda.

I'll answer your questions.

Since the people here are pushing ADOS agenda, I want to know their answers to the questions posed.

Not Yvette or Tone's answers. Yvette & Tone didn't create a thread on BGOL.

I'd love to get some answers to any questions that are asked.

I feel they are fairly easy questions for someone with the knowledge of a movement they feel strongly about.

Because they dont want answers. They want to cause confusion and vent about black Americans holding Democratic politicians accountable who want their vote. The guy wont even reveal who HE's voting or deny that he's a caucasoid, but he wants ADOS to answer to him. This indifference to ADOS is only going to unleash the kracken and grant Trump & Pence 12 more years. More conservative judges in the supreme court, 1,000's of families torn apart by immigration reform the next 12 years, and the repealing of LBGTQ legislation. All because cats wont press the Democrats to adopt a black agenda. Oh well give them cake.

There are four highly visible democrats supporting ADOS agenda why aren’t you supporting them?

I agree with you that republicans will maintain the presidency & senate in 2020. What’s the plan?

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) speaks at Netroots Nation conference on Saturday: "I don't want to bring a chair to an old table. This is the time to shake the table. This is the time to redefine that table. Because if you're going to come to this table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office. If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don't need any more brown faces that don't want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don't want to be a black voice

When Hill asked Omar where she stands on reparations for Black Americans, she responded, “It’s past time.”

“I’m an African immigrant, my situation is very much different in the way that my family interacts with the system, and I want to make sure my colleagues who come from enslaved ancestry are deciding how that policy is implemented in that regard. I am in full support in trying to make sure we are taking full steps into getting reparations.”

"This is something that is very rooted in trying to combat what's happened and continues to happen with black Americans not being actually able to get a level playing -- on the same level after slavery," Tlaib, who represents Michigan's 13th congressional district, said on Capitol Hill.

"I support any opportunity for restorative justice and that can come up all above in some instances, but I think there's a serious conversation happening in committee and I hope it continues to happen regarding reparations. But I guess it should be determined by all of us and I can tell you at home it is direct payment that people want to see but also increased access to higher education, to real equitable funding in education systems, right now, across the country," she added.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls for an 'agenda of reparations' to Black Americans for slavery as she unveils a radical 2020 victory plan for Democrats at an Al Sharpton conference in NY
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls for reparations to black Americans for slavery
  • AOC called for the increasingly popular policy among the left in New York Friday
  • She called for numerous progressive policies including free public colleges, ending mass incarceration, healthcare and said she'd be 'bold' in her actions

How the hell does any of this make sense. So you do understand some semblance of logic.

So you're aware of what more Republicans in power means. Negative situations for non-white people.

Yet your solution is to hold Democrats up with a reparations gun?

And if you don't receive a blatant presidential candidate who supports reparations you aren't voting?

Am I understanding what you just typed?

If the Democrats ignore black folks and keep kissing these white supremacists asses there's not much black folks can do. And if you think this last 2-3 years was tough? :smh: Imagine 12 more? And Pence is 10 times the dick Trump is. White supremacy is going to eat itself alive fronting on ADOS. God help us all....

No we won’t. You know they pre-screen all of the questions and probably have prepared answers. Remember that shit Donna Brazile was involved with in 2016. I doubt ADOS or reparations will be discussed at all.

I think you meant to say that the Democrats will run a lackluster candidate and will fail to deliver an adequate, workable plan to its most loyal demographic, Black voters, and thus will see a muted turnout. Democratic ass-kissers and apologists will blame the ADOS movement for the muted turnout rather than the disingenuous candidates and policies of the Democratic Party. Meanwhile, Trump will tell white conservatives everything they want to hear and they will turnout for him in droves, because the GOP knows its core electorate and speaks to them accordingly.

Guarantee it.

Just curious, do you ever listen to BGS IBMOR on YouTube? Before Trump was even elected, he talked about how Trump would be the end of the gender war in the black community. And he was right. Notice how a lot of the swirlers and Tommy Sotomayor-types have fallen off. Even the black women-haters and anti-black men Esther-types on this board have had to lean back.

Yes I peep brother BGS from time to time and he was right. Alot of folks put the gender beefs to the side to take on a bigger fight, our survival.
