*****UFC 239 - JONES v. SANTOS and HOLM v. NUNES******

Cant wait to watch this just to see if I agree with tbe decision but sounds like Jones played safe. Can't really be mad. If he gets a rematch , so far he destroys on those. Probably lost two rounds reading , then didn't wanna play witbtbat power.

def have to rewatch, just like the first fight with Gus, Jon is usually so dominate that when he’s not you can give the other guy more credit than he deserves.

Not fighting smart when you win by split decision!

Santos was clearly hurt and fell multiple times and Jon didn’t attack.

Fight easily could of went in Santos favor.

Jon didn’t look like he was setting up punches just looking for wild spinning kicks.

Shit Jones was hurt himself-his brothers had to carry him back to the locker room. I would have called it a draw. They should run this back, unless Jones goes up in weight to fight Miocic (assuming he wins his title back).

Some quick questions for the fam' ... how do you think the following fights will play out?

- Holloway versus Edgar?

- Khabib vs. Poirier?

- Adesanya vs. Whittaker?

- Cormier vs. Miocic 2?

It'll be interesting to see how durable Edgar is. I want to see Poirier vs. Khabib play out for at least 3 - 5 rounds in total. No quick stoppage. No lay and pray. Both great fighters. Same for Adesanya and Whittaker. Great previous fight from Adesanya vs. Gastelum earlier this year. And we've already seen the heart Whittaker has shown in his 2 great fights with Romero. Hopefully Cormier-Miocic 2 plays out longer. The first fight was over in less than 1 round in July 2018.

My picks are Holloway by TKO, Khabib by sub' or decision, Adesanya via TKO or decision (likely the former), and Cormier by TKO.

Edgar might be a bad matchup for Max. Striking he's good but if he gets a takedown ya never know

Another toss up.

Another toss up but I see it leaning more towards Isreal. I have a clear bias here too

Again, a pickum but I lean towards Cormier

Theast two are 70/30 where the first two are 50/50

Edgar keeps a good pace. Hopefully he doesn't allow Holloway to fully get into rhythm as he builds as the fight progresses. He's (Holloway) got major output when he's pouring it on. Good to see Poirier get back on track in his career. Definitely some big wins in recent years. Khabib is a bad dude. A handful for anyone. Want to see how Whittaker's durability contends with Adesanya's striking acumen & versatility. Hopefully a better showing for Miocic this time around. Cormier definitely had the right gameplan against him a year ago.
