I honestly think Jones is showing a little mercy to Santos knowing that his leg is fucked up.
That, and why get into a battle with the guy and take damage when he knows he has the fight won.
We got a few crazy fights, this and the Diego fights were duds. They can't all be good ones. Shit happens....

Santos didn't realistically do enough overall to unseat Jones, but... he did do enough in individual rounds to win 3 rounds at least.

people don’t know how to score fights. That having to beat the champ and championship rounds is bullshit. That’s just what commentators say, you score each round individually that’s it.Well if he won 3 rounds, then he should've won the fight.
You can't almost win against any champion...you have to visually and mentally dominate in the ring to get that split decision against a champ.

I think when we rewatch we'll see a lot of flurries from Santos but not much clean hits. I think to be the champ you gotta really beat the champ... he didn't do that for me.
