**Official NBA Offseason... Big Names switch teams, Kawhi/P13 to LAC...wtf Westbrook and CP3 traded

The teams that win and go to the playoffs :hmm:

Milwaukee, Philly and Toronto are all excellent defensive teams
Awww shit naw they not gonna be Philly, Milwaukee or Toronto. I'm talking about the teams they'll be battling to get into that 7th or 8th seed. Hornets, Pistons, Magic, Wiz......no defense.

RJ Barrett will be a solid NBA player. I don't think he'll be special, but hell be solid.

I wouldn't be surprised if his career is similar to Kyle Lowery's. :dunno:
Yeah he's gonna be a solid player. He's probably going to be the 3rd or 4th best player in this draft. I think his floor is that of a 16 points per game player.....his ceiling is hard to gauge right now.

Thats one i got wrong. I thought he would be a good rotation guy and all defense level reserve. Cat has ideal measureables for that role.
I don't watch him much but from what iv'e read he seems to be a solid defender. Knicks really fucked him. With guys like that you have to treat them a certain way. You have to actually develop them. last I Saw he don't even have a position. They were trying him at the 3 spot. If Spurs got their hands on him he'd probably be a starter in this league. He also probably got drafted too high. Dude was drafted too high to be a project.

Ge back where? On the bench? That niggas was exhausted.

Kyle Lowry is a border line hall of famer who has been to five all star games

That's more than solid.

You need to think lower...much less them playing entirely different positions.

Totally agree.

Yeah, he's not the typical kid getting ready for the draft. He wasn't working out for teams or working with a trainer to get ready for his individual workouts and the combine.
Right. And plus think he's a big kid naturally. He didn't lift weights to get that big. Shit just part of his NBA journey. I question if he's gonna make it in the sleague or if he's gonna be a star but it ain't because of his conditioning. He's gonna get that in check. They making this kid out to be the savior and I just don't see it.

Barrett is so fucking soft. He cant drive without yelling, falling, and throwing up some weak ass prayer layup.

Just heard Holiday say they got an entire new staff and new equipment. Thats a good start.

Sad AD had to die for your sins Duece. :smh:

I think they got the suns trainees over there. Like the shit was so bad with the saints( D.Breaux) and pelicans(players stayed hurt for years)
I fault that to Monte Williams getting booted(well half of the reasoning).

I think one issue was he was hurt his first year

but since the Snickers have been so bad, they should have just let him play.

I don't understand why some of these bad teams don't play their young players more when they aren't going to be shit

LMAO!

Yeah, it's long over due and it's gonna take some time for the damage to be repaired but ultimately it falls on the shoulders of a bull headed old man (Tom Benson) who figured he could run his basketball team like his football team and took the cheap route and refused to listen to anybody actually knew how the NBA worked.

I never understood this neither....like wtf

How will they get better if you don’t give them court time....

That shit pissed me off during Lebron’s Heat days.

Man is there a connection between being Canadian and playing soft?Seems like that label gets attached to a lot of them dudes. I heard the asme shit about Anthony Wiggins and Anthony Bennett.

He's going to a team that doesn't really have a lot so he'll have plenty of opportunities to keep the ball in his hand.

But I can't gauge his ceiling either mainly because he doesn't do anything great.

I don't understand that at all. I don't know if its coaches trying to coach for their jobber what but that shit is so annoying especially when you tanking and you still not playing young players.

He's gonna have to earn that though. Knicks got some players who aren't afraid to score on offense. Portis gonna take some shots, Julius Randle....Knox is fearless.....I got a strong feeling RJ Barrett got some ways to go before that offense is built around him.

Barrett's lack of athleticism is really noticeable in this game.

He's not longer and stronger than other players.

That's why I think he'll struggle...if not be a bust.

Zion has a bad jumper, but has freakish quickness, power and jumping. Barrett has none of that.

Plus he's never played second fiddle. And I don't care what anyone thinks Smith Jr, Knox and chucker Trier aren't letting that dude dominate shit.

Yeah I just said that above. I don' know where RJ gonna find the time to be passive. That team is not gonna be built around him. DSjr, Portis, Zo, Knox, Randle........its clear he's not ready.

I thought the Lakers should have drafted chucker Trier in the second last year. Dude is a Lou Williams type player.

Corey Joseph, Shai and Tristain Thompson play hard

I think it's a difference if you're the one in Canada. Canada picks players to train...and it spoils them.

What they worried about?

He needs some conditioning. It was a concern in college too.
You didnt see how gassed he was Weatherman? They did the right thing benching him. His conditioning is poor.. and hes carrying way too weight to be out there when tired. It leaves him open to muscle pulls and dehydration.

He needs a nutritionist ASAP.
