The Decision (TV program)

The Decision was a television special in which National Basketball Association(NBA) player LeBron James announced that he would be signing with the Miami Heat instead of returning to his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. It was broadcast live on ESPN on July 8, 2010. James was an unrestricted free agentafter playing seven seasons in Cleveland, where he was a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a six-time All-Star. He grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, where he received national attention as a high school basketballstar.

Nigga just need to wait until tomorrow or midnight and call that shit "The 4th of Kahwi" or "Kawhi 4th" if he joins the Lakers

Nigga was trying to get a lifetime job and they fired yo ass anyway

The look on Keyshawn :roflmao3:

Not necessarily true. The first day of this off-season was an anomaly. Players usually give it a few days to determine where their headed.

Case in point, Durant waited until the fourth to announce the GS move, Bron waited until the 8th for the decision.

I know we live in an instant gratification culture but you would think Kawhi had waited past Labor Day with the backlash from the breaking news fiends.

-b]Man. How many years did Lebron keep James Jones on a roster??![/b]

actually man. JR had some clutch moments in the year they beat the Warriors... he just had a meltdown the other year. that's what you get with JR, but they need outside shooting and guys who might play on the vet min. Don't be surprised when it happens.

:roflmao::roflmao2::lol2:Man you can’t be serious, James Jones was just there because he was Lebron homeboy. He wasn’t expected to do anything but get in the game at garbage time to hit a three so they could cheer:lol:

People complained about Bron taking too long last year and it was about 40 hours after FA started when he announced. If Kawhi was interviewing 5-6 teams itd be 1 thing, but hes interviewing 3.

I was so glad they got him off of the NFL Countdown show. Dude shit on Ray Lewis and Moss. Shit on his own mom

I could never get with people trying to trash Cris Carter for his stance on this. So many kids are being abused everyday by people the very people who are supposed to love and protect them. He was speaking on his own experiences with being abused as a child and if his mom was the one abusing him then I had no problem with him calling her out

Tyler Herro the realest white boy from the NCAA since Eric Devendorf and was dripping the hardest in this draft with the bust down rolex and chain, his lil brother had the cartier buffs too, too bad they didn't let Devendorf get into the NBA, he had the illest left hand

This kid looks good so far in Summer League.

I stopped watching football a few years back so I'm not familiar with Carter as a commentator. I see his morning show First Things First premiered on September 5, 2017 but I didn't realize he did non-football work at all until I really ramped up my basketball watching this year.

I can definitely see why Carter attracts contempt here. But I don't think it's fair to say he shit on his mom. Marshall Mathers shit on his mom. Cris Carter said he loves his mom and credits her with doing the best that he could but he sees her more as an example of what not to do than a role model to emulate as far as parenting. I'd need a lot more context than an 80 second clip to judge if he was, IMO, right or wrong about her.

Im not sure about GS.

I think the plan is to showcase Russell and then trade him.

They need Klay at the 2.

Otherwise you cant hide Curry on defense anymore.
You forgot Curry can easily play the 2.. but curry and DLO back court where both are combo guards gonna be some shit.. but yeah Klay is the perfect 2 guard with his height

Same reason Leonard kyrie Davis George didn't.....
They are all fools......I'd be careful in assuming Greek Freak is the same fool they are. But let's say hypothetically........he is a fool like them. Draymon, Klay and Steph on big deals? Or you think they gonna let Draymon go?

My world does not revolve around LeBron or rebutting every criticism ever made of him.

We are only just now hitting three full days from the start of free agency. Social media not existing when people waited longer in the past is a fan-centric concern, only related to the short attention-span consumer and having nothing to do with a man's right to take the time he needs to make the best decision for himself. It's his prerogative if he waits a month but at three days this is a ridiculous conversation.

I don't think Klay and Russ even gonna play together this year. Klay gonna come in on a minute restriction and Russ gonna be dealt. At this point its about building his trade value.

Curry can easily play the 2... On offense. If they try their absolute hardest, are they still going to look like Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas on defense regardless?

yeah.. it's a must faster-moving world and the fans demand action...

I wasnt talking bout when he left Cleveland in 2010. Im talkin bout last year when he came to LA. And Bron took heat for The Decision being over the top and drawn out. 2010 social media was infantile so time moved slower back then. Now a day is an eternity.

I said the decision which was the 8th.

I been paying attention but didn’t connect the dots back to La or even the Raptors(until this crowd of fans outside the meeting place)
That's wild as hell they crowding like that. People need to get a life.

You are exactly right. Ex athletes have an axe to grind at times but Thomas is a different breed. He can talk that shit.
Yeah that's why I said I don't know if Isiah fits that mold because when I think of shitty analysts he doesn't come up first.
Oubre took his spot along with Bridges. Got Jackson and Warren out of there
I get it but you just drafted him top 5 or 6 right? Far too soon to give him away.Thought he was alright when Booker got hurt too. Gave Warren away too. I just feel like you got assets the best you should be able to do is get some bullshit in return but shit fuck it. Better for the rest of the league. Good for the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies were old as dirt not long ago...now they got some youth.

 That shit go ta whole wikipedia page. Its gonna have a 30 for 30 within the next 10 years. The decision low-key started all of this shit. They can get a nice documentary out of it.

It was the first round the clock hoopla about an NBA free agency ever. Bron talked to like 5 teams. There was no precedence for how long it should take. Now we want answers in 48 hours. Teams was giving players 30 minutes to make decisions this year.

Congrats to Kendrick. He's managed to be far better and relevant post NBA career than he was in the NBA. Good for him.

And getting entangled with someone who has become much more relevant in his post-BGOL career... (Though not quite "relevant" yet, according to Kendrick.)

"Capping So Much For KD"

He is caping constantly but c'mon, Robert.

Curry can play the 2 but he cant guard the 2.

With Klay guarding the 3, you have 2 guys who cant play defense on guards.
