Took my boards today...

No offense bro but is that the best pic you had to use?

How long does it take to become a Nurse practitioner?

My girl a Nurse in the NICU so I know you went through a lot to accomplish what you did.

Its a good career, all the urgent care centers popping up all over use Nurse practitioners, which as far as I know are as good as doctors.
Thanks bro! I plan to be as good as or better. My board review and prep has taken my confidence to where it needs to be. I prepped for 1.5 months. I was forced to learn to topics and systems I finessed my way through. For instance, i will now be confident when picking and antibiotic or antihypertensive for that particulat pt...i learned rationale so I feel pretty good for a change!!!

And i have 2 gigs lined up just waiting for the State Board to give me my license #.
One is at a hormone replacement clinic (giving testonsterone, Deca, HCG peptides, HGH and other supplements).

The other is at a family practice clinic in the area.
I just wanna rest for now though...

Props bro. You're part of an elite group now. I'm pushing my son to go back now. He's got his BSN last year. He's only 23. The nurse manager, other nurses, and even patients are telling him. His clinical knowledge is off the chain. What advise would you give him?
