**Official NBA Offseason... Big Names switch teams, Kawhi/P13 to LAC...wtf Westbrook and CP3 traded

I think its only a handful of franchises that can attract stars, Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Warriors, Rockets

Jordan been rebuilding since he got that franchise. He should have been trying to get rid of or package those bums with draft picks before it got to this point letting Kemba go.

If I was a Charlotte fan I would not have faith in Jordan rebuilding the team.
That’s not how you rebuild though. You can’t trade your only assets in order to get some cap space when no one wants to come there. They need to draft better. Simple as that. The current NBA model is made for teams like the Hornets to fail or at best be mediocre. No one wants to play there and they never get the first pick in the draft. So they are forced to overpay because they have to spend a certain amount to avoid a tax.

Yeah. Kimba is not worth max money. However, since you knew it was going to come to this, he probably should have been traded during the season.
Yeah that’s what should’ve happened unless they thought they could sway him. Should’ve got whatever you could.

Yeah. You gotta draft well and also be bad enough to get good draft picks and then build out of that. You can't get stuck in mediocre purgatory. That's the Pistons... every fucking year competing for the 8th spot in the playoffs. Good enough to make the playoffs and get swept every year.... not bad enough to get into the lottery. :smh:

Yeah Pistons are another one. Just fucking up royally. Mavs was on that shit too. Trying to salvage Dirks prime even though it’s been up. Tanked for two years and it paid off. Only talent we got is from straight up being trash and not mediocre. You can pray for Greek Freak and Leonard in the middle of the draft if you want but it’s not gonna happen often.

Now if you wanna talk about someone who don't deserve a max, that's Porzingas... Cuban will have buyers remorse on that contract

Charlotte fans want him to sell the team. They not BGOL members, all that nostalgia and Chicago Bulls memories dont mean nothing to Hornets season ticket holders. He's been getting a pass for a decade. He's already had a few rebuilds.

So if KD and Kawhi talking about playing together

Kyrie Nets to the

The Knick have a ton of money

The dubs planning to max Klay And KD

In Boston looking like kemba will be replacing Unc, who could’ve rejoin Lebron

Lakers have room for a max, kawhi wants to y’all to the owner and former player

Kyrie and KD been linked to Nets

Kawhi been talking LA, before he got traded....

Seem like these cats don’t know what they bout to do....Except the point guards

Kemba's signing to Boston for 4year max

Kinda rescues MJ from any criticism locally. He turns down 160 (after stating he would take hometown discount) to take 141.

No way id pay even what Ainge did. He was better served putting that on Smart and Rosier.

Scared money don’t make no money. He’s in the same boat. We got 32 million in cap space and can sign anyone we want but no one is coming. You done traded draft picks for Rondo, Luka, Nerlens Noel and a couple for KP. All you can do is shoot your shot. You can either sit back scared and pay for niggas like Biyombo or pray your doctors are right and spend it on a potential supetstar if healthy. It’s a no brainer to me.

7'3 Mobile Rim protector that shot 40% from 3 not worth a max?
Right. If he gets hurt he gets hurt. But if there were no concerns the Mavs would’ve never had a shot at him. 7’3, 23 years old, wet jumper, shot blocker? Harrison Barnes about to get 90 million.

People forget you still have to sell tickets? Jerseys?
Everything team isn't winning a chip
Half won't make the playoffs

Yeah. But you have to make a decision. Mediocre purgatory is almost the worst place to be....at least the bum ass Knicks had hopes of landing Zion. If you aren't committed to the player (and you know you're going to have to commit max money or close to it to keep him), you should have just moved him to a needy team and got something back for him while you could.

Every team isn't going to win a championship, but the Hornets are horribly managed.... there seems to be no real strategy there.

yeah niggas talking about injury concerns as if Embiid and Anthony Davis haven't either and they're all max players easy. Mavs would be dumb to not offer KP that $160 mil 5 yr deal, they not getting a Unicorn any other way since their track record shows they've never been able to attract stars there

Seems like reporters are putting out a lot of bullshit.

Seems like agents are negotiating through the press

4 years 141 > 5 years 160

Kemba will be in the playoffs next year. Doubt the Hornets will.

They weren't going to the playoffs with Kemba

at least the next two with that contact and Batum's

Not giving Kemba money allows them to start over. Maybe Batum can be tradeable in his last year.
Biyombo will be gone
Cody Zeller will be in his last year

Not giving Kemba 30+ mil and accounting for 25%+ of their salary cap is probably the smartest move Mike has done

The only thing they should have done was trade him...but they didn't expect him to make third team all NBA...nobody did

but none of this means shit to you, because you don't think with logic

Yep

but it also covers the reporters, because they're covering all bases

You can't be wrong if you're linking Kawhi or KD to three teams

The average NBA team is worth about 2 billion.
Jordan should sell however the NBA needs to have at least one black team owner. It's a good look for them.
