That's the club district avenida Venezuela. He was sitting outside with other famous dominicans when the shots rang out. Avenida Venezuela is a place where it's in the hood but safe as long as you dont wear jewels and stay on the streets with the clubs. I am surprised by this in all honesty...I know what Boosie and others said and while I agree I wouldnt think Ortiz would be on the level of a Boosie type rapper in DR...he would be on damn near national treasure status...not as high as Pele in Brazil (who was robbed and had his things returned when they realized who it was), Jordan or Ali in the US or Bolt in Jamaica but a level below in the DR...he should be able to go anywhere as long as he living right...and would probably be given a pass even if he wasnt...I dont know how DR ranks its sports heroes but he should be up there
