Bright burn spoiler thread

I understand he is your adopted son but don't say I don't know whats wrong with him. He came in a spaceship, you saw him chewing on a fork, he broke a lock, he tore the door off a chicken coop. Oh he is just maturing. He came to you in a spaceship.

If my nephew visited me and with threats I would of called his mother. If i see him hiding in my closet I'm calling his father. Use your phone

i thought it was a good movie.

movie pass made it even better.

it was worth the time, imo.

Just got out of it. Glad I paid to see it on a big screen before watching the BGOL leak. Shit was good. And really brutal. Like John Wick meets Saw levels of brutal.

Seeing this and Chronicle being in the same universe could be cool. I'm just kinda burnt out on shared universes though. They aired an trailer for the next Annabelle movie before this and that basically looked like you would have to see every one of those and every Conjuring movie to understand wtf was going on. I ain't got time for all that. All these shared universe movies are started to feel like homework assignments.

Besides, the dudes from Chronicle could just fly and levitate shit. This little dude Brandon got Superman powers. God like strength, super speed, and heat vision. Them dudes from Chronicle don't want no static from Brandon.

Dude went to tibet at the end , technically been 7 yrs so that means he had time to elevate his skillset... A more polish dude vs a kid alien might be a great match... To bad that match won't happen since that was only a concept I created

I watched the BGOL leak this morning and on the 2nd viewing I couldn't stop thinking about just how stupid the premise of Suicide Squad was. So if Superman had decided to tear down the White House door, he would have been stopped by a chick in clown makeup, a drunk Aussie with a boomerang, a shark man, a fire guy, and some special forces dudes.

Imagine the Suicide Squad trying to stop Brandon. And he's not even on Superman's level yet. He's barely at Superboy status. Brandon just turned 12 and he would wipe out the SS in seconds.

Didn't they also have telekinetic
abilities? A powerful telekinetic is hard to deal with. Ebony Maw was giving the Avengers the business in the movies.

True but those kids were still vulnerable. Andrew got taken out by being stabbed. If you threw that sword at Brandon you would piss him off.

Wasnt it stated that the metal from his ship made him bleed..? Had he not destroyed it the government wouldve probably taken the ship's metal and made all kinds of weapons from it

Was messed up how he took out Garner from Baywatch though

The Omen meets Superman
PRAISE pulled in by the story of a loving couple
Tori (Elizabeth Banks) and Kyle Breyer (David Denman) obviously trying to have a child.Faster than you can say When You Wish Upon A Star BOOM something crashes in the woods near their farm and it contains a male baby.
Ten years later the child who's name is Brandon
(Jackson A. Dunn) starts to realize he has powers a realization that will eventually will lead to terror.
There were some cool scares, and suspenseful moments throughout the movie.Including an ultra creepy dark moment that caught me off guard.
The blend of something out of a Stephen King Novel and a comic book worked for me for the most part.
The amount of blood and gore was surprising but no off putting.
All of the actors do fin in their portrayals.I was actually amused by some of the parodic moments.
PROBLEMS: Predictable.A couple of characters were to naive for me.Horrible facts are almost literally hitting them in the face but they seem to brush it off until it's to late !!
The film was far to short for men and in it's briefness crack of underdevelopement start to show.It never reaches the heights i hoped it would reach.
I praise BB for trying something new in a genre that has some staleness around it's edges.
Scale of 1-10 a 7½
