This episode took a whole lot from the current comics

I understand Barry's point but he fucked up,so many times,the team was able to forgive him yet he can't forgive his daughter....

The problem with Barry is that Nora is his daughter biologically but they didn't earn a father -daughter relationship - that takes time not time travel -
If he had raised her until her 20s going through ups and downs and sickness and victories, watch her lie and then tell when she is lying and not call her on it because it your back door super power. That what being a father is - its pisses me off a little to have Nora call Barry Dad - she might as say Daddy and ask him to smack her ass - its all bullshit -
Nothing is earned in this relationship - at least with team Flash - they can forgive barry his fuck ups because they have earned the friendships

and ALREADY forgave her for wrecking the time line ALREADY
and she kept a lie pretty much ENTIRELY for selfish reasons
this wasn't LIFE or DEATH or an ACCIDENT or to PROTECT the world
she lied and did ALL this duplicitous sh*t
just to see/meet him.

She had NUMEROUS chances to come clean and did not

The argument between Iris and Barry as the opener was just way too deep and real.
The drama gets better than the Super-Heroics at times on this show.

I like this conflict much better that the pep talks before the boss level fights at the end of the episodes
I don’t care about the snow family. It just took away from the main plot line. The fight between Barry & Iris was great! They both called each other on their own shit. I really dislike how Iris is written & glad someone finally called her out.
I don’t get why team flash, was so mad at Sherlock! If I was him, I would tell them to fuck off! When Joe told him “you’re done enough”, I would have gone off on all of them.

The family dynamic on Flash and Black Lightning are TOP NOTCH...
in fact that is what they do BEST and need to STICK to.

The dynamic on how ALL the father figures in Barry's life
he basically BECAME each one while trying to deal with a child he NEVER KNEW (never wanted)
and became an INSTANT father of a damn WOMAN (with ISSUES).
He went from his own dad to Joe to wells to thawne to wells AGAIN and the OTHER Flash...
and then found his OWN compass.
Nora went through every phase of development into adulthood that she MISSED out on
Bad influence "step-father" single parent over protective spoiling favoritism etc etc
It was all just a metaphor on parenting and the relationships built over time (time and family are the cornerstones of the entire series)

I feel like this was the weakest season of the show. If not for Jessica Parker Kennedy fine ass this season would have been shit. The American Pie dude delivering his Cicada lines with that voice were irritating. Now the bitch grown up is just as much annoying.

AGAIN, the heroes have cicada knocked out on the ground & AGAIN they don’t restrain her. They talk & let her get up. Why not put cuffs on her? Why not run her to prison? Oh yeah...because the plot demands that the characters become stupid.
