In my experience, it has more to do with the personality than the skin tone. However, she has a valid point about how darker and lighter skinned black people are perceived. Sadly, it's prevalent among our own people so ignorant they don't realize they're doing the white mans work for him.

Not to sound shallow but it's not really about colorism. Not exactly. If that chick in particular were light skin she still wouldn't be attractive. And I'm dark skinned myself.

Women that aren't attractive regardless of color or ethnicity have always had a harder time getting chose. Been that way for centuries. Women unfortunately and for the most part pretty much have to get by based primarily on their looks when it comes to dating. There's exceptions but obviously those are exceptions and not the rule.

No it's not a hard and fast rule but in general that's how it's been. She wants to blame it on being dark skinned? There's some gorgeous dark skin chicks out there. It's how ATTRACTIVE the chick is not whether she is light or dark. This ain't new. She may want to put a spin on it but the chick is just not that attractive.

And for black women especially when it comes to marriage well that's a whole different ballpark. Plenty light skinned attractive chicks can't find a (decent) man to DATE let alone get married. And that's a whole nother issue by itself. Many discussions have been held on this board about black women finding decent men just to date. Tons of em out there.

To any black woman regardless of color: love yourself, embrace Africanization, reject white identity (never ever side with white narratives....ever), no weave, eat and cook healthily, earn your own money and have a career, exercise and keep a nice body, dress well (sexy and classy), keep your feet and hands looking good, give good head, keep a wet pussy, wear your natural hair (fuck braids too...no man wants to see your hairline 10 inches north of your forehead or smell that fake hair shit when its dirty), view the black man as your God given equal and life partner, and finding a man will not be a problem at all.

Agree with this completely. It isn't as bad here in America as it is other places but it is still an issue. That said, I don't think this chick should be the face of that movement.

Ive said over and over and over, this colony/corporation/country(whatever you wanna call it) spends billions and billions of dollars YEARLY to keep us divided, distracted, confused and mislead!! I really dont know what its going to take to get our people to understand this!! They can not, I repeat can not let us UNITE!! So they push every agenda/tactic in the book on our people!!
