Peace,
I’m sorry to say it but Nipsey was a much better human being than Pac. As much as he was/is loved and worshipped, Pac was a walking contradiction and displayed symptoms of bipolar illness.
PAC was thug life until he died. Yeah he talked a little about niccas doing better, but he didn't put that into action as far as I know.....but his music was banging and is still banging today....I know a dozen songs word for word
I couldn't tell you even one song that Nip sang.....narry a one, but his action in the community was stellar...from stores to technology...he was doing it big.
Completely different people......
Completely different people......
Completely unfair to say because Nipsey at 25 had not accomplished a vast majority of what he set out to do and still hadn't at 33
So to judge someone and their works at 25 as opposed to someone who unfortunately got to live to be 33 does a disservice
Nipsey simply had more time and still not enough time as did 2pac.

Unpopular opinion here:
Nipsey Hussle is legit about that life.
Pac was not about that life like Nipsey.
I simply cannot see you going to Art School, working as a ballet dancer, being a background dancer for DU and all of a sudden you're a street thug.
That said, Pac's legacy and impact will reverberate far longer than Nipsey's will.
Too dam old to speak on how the kiddies feel. It's like when pac died and asking our parents about 2pac. Older folks literally had no fucks to give.
If people in their teens and early 20s feel Nipsey was that big, he was that big. In 20 years, they will still be bumping his music and rappers will keep him alive like they did pac and biggie.
Gotta keep in mind Nip was a grown man in his mid 30s when he lost his life.. Pac was a kid in his early 20s still figuring shit out.Peace,

situation kinda reminds of Pac's rise ..
hardly ever heard of dude before death, now he been lionized as some kinda revolutionary![]()

That may or may not be the case.. But it doesnt equate to him being a lesser human being. Certainly not a "much better human". That was beyond harsh brother. Especially when we consider the principles Tupac espoused served to motivate and inspire this brother among millions of others.Peace,
Yeah brother I get that. But I’ve always believed that Pac never planned on living long. It seems like he truly wanted to die and was going to burn down everything around him until he got his wish. It reminds me of a quote from The Godfather (the book):
There are men in this world who go about demanding to be killed. They argue in gambling games; they jump out of their cars in a rage if someone so much as scratches their fender. These people wander through the streets calling out "Kill me, kill me."
To me that describes Pac definitively. He needed help and he never got it because we were too busy idolizing him.
