I loved this group! they were the best duo since Aurra, who I also love to this day.
It's one thing that Koffee Brown should break up but its kinda weird to not hear
anything from either one of them since, especially considering they were solo artists
and writers to begin with. Someone gotta know something, shit. I miss this kinda R&B something bad.

Allegedly the male singer, Fonz, got caught up in a gay scandal with someone in the industry. The news was about to break, so the label stopped all promo. After that he just faded away.
The female, Vee, did some vocals for Next on the song "Too Close". The last anyone heard she was teaching.
 
I read somewhere they were a couple... he started playing with groupies and Vee found out and the group thing ended

They both had young kids once success came. Guess they went the Lauryn Hill rout and decided family over fame which I can respect.

Plenty of one hit wonders in r&b history. They could still get some money every now and again to do a show or two like....

I should have took my shot but I punked out. My life didn't turn out too bad, but in 2000 I got back stage and sang for Eric Benet. He gave me his managers number and I never called

That's the first thing I thought right off top. There are TONS of one hit wonders that have come out down through the years. It's hard enough just to break through with just ONE hit song or album. To keep churning them out ain't easy. And when it's a group instead of a solo artist staying together can be tough sometimes.

Didn't we have a one hit wonder thread or something like that a long time ago?

I just had to look up what happened to Rome, I don't know why I thought that nigga was dead.

But he ain't, he out there touring like everybody else. I didn't even know he was in my city last year.

"I Belong To You" is one of the coldest side nigga anthems ever. Speaking on the behalf of the Side Niggas of America Incorporated, salute to that brotha for that joint.
 
Lol I bought that album and thought ‘After Party’ was the only decent song on their. I wanted my $13.99 back!

I loved Jeff Redd's album too, one of my fav albums from that era. But strangely I was never a fan of "You called and told me" from the strictly business
soundtrack. I much preferred his album.
