I agree but my point was his time to Man Up would have been in the mid-90's after having a sexual relationship with a 15 year old when he was 28 and going so far as to marry her with a fake marriage license.

Or before that honestly since I doubt Alliyah was his first.

If he didn't learn from that scandal he has no hope.

It's definitely too late and there is no hope.

What I'm saying is, every person on Earth knows it's him on those tapes. Him stating his innocence looks foolish, he really thinks everyone's that dumb. Everyone he knows, knows that he has a problem.

R Kelly just needs to say, "I have a problem". That's it. He won't be forgiven, but admit that you have a problem.

Because right now, his jumping around crying professing his innocence makes him look fucking stupid.

Well...that solves that case. He said he didn't do it. Wrap it up boys.

I like how he asked which camera was on him... we know you know all about cameras bruh

Agreed.

But the crazy thing is I guarantee you in his mind he really is a victim here despite what he's done.

I've noticed that pedophiles, child molesters, serial rapists, etc. have this weird ability to justify their acts and see themselves as victims when they're caught.

Yeah the "You can't double jeopardy me" line is what will be the reason he beats the case in the end.

You can tell by his actions and his words that he believes he's the victim. He thinks everyone's out to get him. :smh:

Yeah the "You can't double jeopardy me" line is what will be the reason he beats the case in the end.

I doubt he walks this time. They're charging him differently this time. They also have victims speaking up as well as whistle blowers this time. He got a pass once yet fucked it up. He's getting some time this go around.

He’s not beating the case this time. What “He” means by double jeopardy is that the tapes are from the same time period, not the same tapes.

He thinks because the tapes are from the same group/periodic that it makes them the same. He’s wrong.

No doubt I was being facetious in that post.

He's done this time especially since the victims appear to be cooperating this time.

They only thing that saved him in the first trial was the lack of victim testimony.

This may be ill advised, but you gotta respect this.

Man what in the entire fuck? He talked for a full minute yet somehow DIDN'T answer the question about messing with underage girls. Then he tried to make us feel sorry for him."Respect."

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon and holding no one to the fire unless I start holding everyone else to it too and really R.kelly's going to be the scapegoat for hollywoods dirty secrets,so while we're here focusing on him their slowly fading into the background.R.kelly did some wrong things but I don't think he has no one hostage or holding no against their will and his ex wife is a dirty ol wrinkled faced bitch who is trying to get even with him because of not supporting her hollywood lifestyle no more but ok cool....move on because there's no money in being a victim of R.kelly.

So how about you "hold everyone to the fire" and stop giving this monster a pass?

From the same article...

Damon Dash, who was dating Aaliyah at the time of her death in 2001, claimed she labelled Kelly a ‘bad man’ following their relationship. Speaking of Lifetime’s docu-series about the allegations against the I Believe I Can Fly star, he explained: ‘I watched some of it yesterday, as much as I could tolerate. ‘And I’m not gonna lie, as a human I was tight. I was tight about a couple of things. Number one, there was a girl that was trying to talk about it and couldn’t. And I remember Aaliyah trying to talk about it and she couldn’t. She just would leave it at, “That dude was a bad man”.’ He added: ‘And I didn’t really wanna know what he did to the extent that I might feel the need… to deal with it. Just ‘cause that’s what a man does.

:hmm: @ Dame. "'Deal with it' is 'what a man does,' which is why I did not deal with it in the least."

"Double jeopardy" is being charged for the same exact crime twice.
These are NEW cases. This is not double jeopardy.

Also note, it it can be proven in the original case that Kelly bribed the witnesses or judge or anyone involved, then it negates "double jeopardy" because he was never in "jeopardy".

However, like I said these are new cases so they can proceed. That is why he was indicted to begin with. The State has a case.

Also note he said "I beat my case" not "I was innocent".

Yeah the "You can't double jeopardy me" line is what will be the reason he beats the case in the end.

Charging him this time? He has already been charged. Hence the indictment and arrest and bail.
You mean convicting him this time? Yes, I cannot imagine lightning striking twice this time.

I doubt he walks this time. They're charging him differently this time. They also have victims speaking up as well as whistle blowers this time. He got a pass once yet fucked it up. He's getting some time this go around.

R. Kelly Faces New Sexual-Abuse Indictment, With New Allegations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

R. Kelly, in jail and already facing federal charges in New York court and state charges in Illinois and Minnesota, now faces a new indictment, filed on February 13 in Illinois federal court, according to Pitchfork. The indictment supersedes the original from last July, which charged Kelly with child pornography, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice. The new allegations state that Kelly enticed a minor, identified as “Minor 6,” “to engage in sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, namely, aggravated criminal sexual abuse,” between 1997 and 2000, beginning when the alleged victim was 14 or 15 years old. The new indictment also appears to remove from the list of alleged victims the 17-year-old victim identified as “Minor 2,” now “Individual D,” who had played a central role in the allegations of pay-offs during Kelly’s 2008 child pornography trial.

In another significant change from the previous indictment, the prosecution now seeks for the first time the forfeiture of all assets of Kelly’s production company, Bass Productions Ltd., as well as those of a company owned by his co-defendant and longtime business manager, Derrel McDavid, according to the Chicago Tribune.

This news comes after Kelly missed a court date in January due to hernia surgery, according to TMZ. Furthermore, as of February, Kelly’s former girlfriend and defender Azriel Clary is now cooperating with federal investigators and speaking out against Kelly, TMZ reports. Clary left Kelly in December of 2019, and allegedly “lied to federal agents several times in the past to cover for Kelly.”

These new developments will most likely push back Kelly’s scheduled trial date of April 27, for federal charges.

Wonder if he going to make any songs about his bootyhole being torn apart. Yea, he probably will. Trapped, inside the prison bathroom. Kells, you got to be the biggest fool since Chicken Little dude :smh:

In August, three associates of R. Kelly were arrested for allegedly attempting to intimidate and threaten women who have accused the singer of sexual abuse and harassment. On Monday, one of those men, Michael Williams, pleaded guilty to arson, according to the New York Daily News, after setting an SUV, parked outside an alleged victim’s Florida home, on fire. Williams, reportedly a relative of Kelly’s former publicist, identified in court documents as “I-1,” will be sentenced on October 5 and could face up to 71 months in prison.

On Monday in Brooklyn Federal Court, Williams admitted to Judge Ann Donnelly that he “deliberately set a car on fire in someone’s driveway,” as part of a plea deal that will dismiss a related witness-tampering charge. Per the initial police report, on June 11, Williams set a black SUV alight; authorities later found evidence of an accelerant on the property. A man also living in the residence told police he “saw an individual fleeing from the scene of the fire, whose arm appeared to be lit on fire.”

One of the other men arrested and charged in August, Richard Arline, pleaded guilty in February to attempting to bribe an R. Kelly accuser into staying silent, while the third, Donnell Russell, pleaded not guilty in October to threatening one of the singer’s accusers, and was in plea negotiations as of November.

“Kelly has nothing to do with this — nothing to do with it at all,” R. Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg told Vulture at the time of the trio’s arrest this summer. “He’s never reached out to a witness, he’s never tried to intimidate a witness.” According to the Daily News, the accuser targeted by Williams is allegedly one of the victims testifying in the singer’s upcoming racketeering trial, scheduled to take place in Brooklyn this July.
