I’m sorry but I guess I’m the minority, the second CD sucked to me. I didn’t really like any of the songs.

(excluding Outkast) no double disc was ever worth the classic status we gave it

....R. by R Kelly too

it became a fad and soon artists started putting out unedited albums just to call it a double disc

however, it you trim the fat off R., All Eyez on Me, Life After, Streets Disciple, and Wu Forever, you have certified 1 disc CLASSICS

EIGHTBALL - LOST
This deserves more than just an honorable mention. I would argue the top three should be Biggie, Tupac, and 8-ball, in whatever order you want to put them in. Everybody else is fighting for fourth place

I voted UGK I play Underground Kingz till this day.

But I gotta give Nas Streets Disciple a vote too. NAZARETH SAVAGE was my shit. Disc 1 of Streets Disciple is one of the most underrated pieces of music I've ever heard. The music production was A1

i don't think you can call the Outkast a true dbl album. the albums were recorded separately and simply put together as an outkast album. LA reid confirmed this in his book. Listening to the album it's even more clear, they were not in the studio together and there is no energy between them or the tracks.
