I was gonna skip this and wait til a link drops...but it falls too close to avengers: endgame which I’m definitely seeing in theaters...so I gotta see this when it drops too so that I don’t miss anything

It will make money...
I'm saying it will suck.

Her voice is terrible

Her body is frail

Her acting is boring

Damn you aint the first one to say that.

I think this one is going to either be dope or suck

No between.

The supporting cast is so strong, and they had so much time to make it work.

I've got faith.

Its HER.

everything about her.

Gal played the shit out of WW... this ain't that

Plus if you can fly, how can you fall? The train sequence is telling

We have seen flying characters fall forever...

And i want a different take on the super hero

But i don't think this woman can CARRY this film.

That is special rarefied air.

Chadwick was able to be part of a strong ensemble in his own film cause he stole Civil War from some heavyweights on the screen.

I think what hurts her is she didn't have a real early appearance to establish herself.

But who would you have cast instead?

I don't know white stars like that, but the bitch would need to weigh more than 98 pounds and not sound like shes prepubescent

if you lose concentration.... like when people trip over their own feet, Marvel and most heros are not like Namor whose wings operate almost autonomously

its not only her - the director / cinematographer is photographing her wrong so far...
so far whoever set up the blocking / storyboarding had no imagination
the action sequences in the trailers and featurette are uninspired and passionless -
by comparison these trailers make WonderWoman's choreography look good (and it really wasn't)
I'm not seeing the love here - they should have hired by competence not by sex... OR the marketing team is just really incompetent and have no eye for this

They really could use a Gareth Edwards like touch

I've had this debate a few times

Yeah i think a female hero movie should have a female writer and director

But i ALSO want the best...period.

i wanted coogler for black panther

No one knew he would craft a damn near masterpiece

But he got help from the Russo brothers...

And in turn he helped them.

I was actually ok with them even directing BP.

It would definitely not be same, but it would have been solid

I really thought Marvel would stick with the formula

And have the whole family contribute

But the fight scenes we have been shown don't appear to have that touch.

Again i want female directors not just working on "girl" movies. But on all movies.

But i also think we shouldnt just block men from crafying heroes like Sara Conner, Ripley, Buffy, etc.

It doesn't matter who writes the story - good writing makes sex irrelevant - feminism and PC is too focused in identity
- that culture is ruining art

The best argument they could possibly make is the screenplay / dialogue could be best written by those of similar experience and background as the main character(s), but even that is bullshit - give me the best story tellers and visually gifted

Spielberg and Bigelow never saw war - but they have made 2 honest war movies - 1 is easily top 10 and the other is top 2 of all time.
Scott, Cameron and Whedon are still the only filmmakers to deliver 3 dimensional fully fleshed out non-sexualized heroines to the screen

I'll bet you money that the Russos will be the filmmakers that get / do Marvel the right way in their films- same way that they were the only ones to finally get Thor right in Infinity War

fuck a female or male director - all that should matter is
1. who is the best story teller available
2. do they have an affinity or desire to tell the story and a clear vision for it

@ViCiouS @BitchI'llKillYa

Ok my oldest just watched it...

sh liked it...but then added they better be more to it.

I was confused...what you mean?

It was cool I want to see the rest but I want her to fight like the boys do.

but better.

WOW...

maybe they shouldn't have dropped this trailer.

Gotta disagree with you. So if this was 3 years ago I would of said you're right but then I got the chance to see women writers show how they could tell when it's men writing for women. I'll have to see if I can find the thread but basically what they said is that men will sexualize female characters in a way women would never act but more how men wish women would act.

This bitch's body is so WACK.
I still have to see the movie though.
Fuck Marvel.
