Ford catches a lot of hell but my pops has an f350 and an f250 that he uses as work trucks. Cant beat em. That damn 350 will pull a fuckin house.
One thing I noticed is no one uses fords for towing, mostly use chevys and I mean never.
Anyone know why. Just curious.

I am a Dodge guy, I have 2 ram 1500s. my neighbor has a 5500 Ram he uses to tow a car carrier. I dont anything other than my boat really and is only like 2800 lbs. That 6 is a turbo, if I went diesel I would go Cummins all day.

You mean the Nissan Titan with the Cummins yes I've seen it and I don't see the point in it. The truck is a 5/8 ton truck which is pointless especially for what they cost. You can buy a 3/4 or 1 ton truck for the same price point. That truck can't do what I need my truck to do. I've towed 18k pounds with my 3/4 Ford and it towed it like a charm.

I love my Tundra though....AND IT MADE MY BABY ITS BITCH!!!

What I don't like about the Duramax is it don't have a solid front axle. It has IFS type suspension which don't seem as heavy duty to me. Folks say they like the leafs more than coil overs but in my mind trains have coil overs so they seem more heavy duty. I saw a video of the new body style Ram 3500. I'm tempted but Id have to put it to work to make it a worthwhile purchase.
Exactly what I was thinking, but CACs love to go muddin' AND that gave him the opportunity to mud bathe the Toyota at the same time. It didn't make any sense to go down into the middle of the softest, soggiest part to make the recovery.
It was just an opportunity to have some fun tearing up sod and showing off. I notice that he dragged the Toyota for 140 yards down the middle instead of going up the embankment.
It's a diesel on duallies...it performed as expected.
