Shit is awesome!
If cacs can give a faggit a royal title, I rather give my respect to this royal title

exactlyThat's true royalty, none of that European BS.
Bro, you implied its done to everyone. I merely asked who. Best you got was some "friend" from years ago. They do it all the damn time.
I saw a doc where they did the same thing and I've heard of a few people. I dunno who got long, chief or whatever title. I had a friend who came back years ago bragging about him.being a chief lol. He actually did live there for a few years. He's back
Are you people aware of how many slaves them folks sold?
Hell, they SELL you tours that show you where someone on your bloodline MIGHT have went thru. Who the hell you think brought you to the gates of no return? And people go there talmbout "I'm home" lmao
He doesnt know the culture don't pay him no mind bigbroWho else got one?
Bro, you implied its done to everyone. I merely asked who. Best you got was some "friend" from years ago.
Also, not sure what sold slaves has to do with anything. I certainly didnt ask you about that.
If you don't know what he did then what I said stands. But apparently all you need to do is SEE them doing it. He didn't even bother to say what he did to have that title, but you still giving him props and telling ME "there's more to it than that" lol. Unbelievable.
I didn't need you tell me what the title means.and how the hell is he supposed to have high status in a community he don't live in and don't even speak the language and MAYBE has SOME mixture of ancestry from ? Lol oh, cuz he's an actor in America.
I'm glad you asked tho. Let's continue. ...Bro, you implied its done to everyone. I merely asked who. Best you got was some "friend" from years ago.

You're right tho. There IS more to it than that. When did I say there’s more to it than that?
Although I quoted you, my response wasn’t to you alone, it was for anyone curious to understand the title.
So one guy from a documentary 50 years ago and Colin Kapernick... except Kap didnt really get crowned, he was just wearing traditional garb. Gotcha!!20:00 mark. They install this guy as an "honorary cheiftain". He didn't give no money to shit. He was just there with some cameras. Colin Kaepernick has also posted himself getting draped in kente clothe too, tho he didn't say anything about being given a title. It's COMMON
Slave ports are part of history and used as learning tools, landmarks, and historical reference of real life events and atrocities. Confederate statues were post civil rights terrorism tactics used in southern states to intimidate innocent black citizens and dissuade them from seeking basic human rights. Now to answer the part about why I mentioned the part about slaves. I wouldn't be going to one of the busiest slave ports and the ancestors of those who worked them, and have admitted to doing it, are working and profiting. If anything those stupid dungeons should be town down like Confederate statuses. I just ignore em.

Why would i want to delete anything? You'll prolly wanna delete this lol
I get it about slave ports. Funny part is what you might wanna learn is those people giving you the tours, many times are tbe descendants of the slave traders. Or descendants of those peoples slaves themselves. And now they make YOU pay THEM to show you things they profited from in the past, but eventually lost through colonization, their own corruption, and brain drain. Like i said, I wouldn't mind if the shit was torn down to make way for a real future, but since y'all wanna pay for the shit, be my guest.
Nope. Still waiting on you to answer the original one. So far we got your friend and someone in a documentary in the 60s. You need more people..@Amajorfucup anymore questions bredren?
You're right tho. There IS more to it than that.
Over the past several years, a number of foreigners, mainly American and some European visitors to certain parts of Ghana have had chieftaincy titles bestowed on them. It is difficult to figure out the origin or how this conferment of chieftaincy titles on foreigners began in Ghana. But our recollections show that they came to prominence around some coastal villages in the Central Region of Ghana where people conferred chieftaincy titles on some visiting white foreigners. They usually made them "Nkosoohene" (sub-chiefs for development).
The towns and villages who started conferring these titles were hoping that the foreigner, having been made an honorary citizen of the town or village, would bring in money, material or other resources to assist in the town/village's development . But in most cases the visiting White foreigner merely regarded this show for what it really is: a form of high-drama entertainment that they ran into during their three-week vacation in the sun on Africa's West Coast. No-one ever hears again from the newly-minted chiefs after they leave Ghana at the end of their vacations.
It's a fucking hustle. Cut the shit
It's much more to it than that.
Hene = Ruler and literally means itchy. Back in the olden days towns were founded by brave men who would go into the deep forest to clear the way. And aside from encountering wild animals your body would itch owing to the plants encountered, so these people were “itching” for progress and success for the nation.
Asantehene = Ruler of Asante
Akwamuhene= Ruler of Akwamu
To be an Ɔhene means you are a now called “Nana” or the “enlightened one,” it’s a title one earns through life. Some are named after a Nana hence it being in our birth name, but living up to the name or earning it is the goal.
Bruh White, didn’t specify the type of Rulership title he was bestowed with, but we have ceremonial/honorary titles for people that do great work. For instance, if you came to Akwamu and built a hospital for the people, the Akwamuhene may give you the title “Nkosuohene” or the Ruler of Development.
Since he found a connection with the Akwamu, possibly in kind gesture, the Akwamuhene gave him a Rulership title so that he has a high status within the community.
I’ll wait to see what he was given to comment further. But quite a few Brothas and Sista’s from the diaspora are given Rulership titles for there work.
Lol oh so you respond to ME , responding to someone saying "it's more than that" but you don't respond to THEM and say "it's just an honorable title. And you don't notice that Michael doesn't call it that. He thinks he's a fucking King lmaoIt’s an honorary title and I never said it was more than that. Certain groups value the title and some don’t. If development of wells, hospitals, etc. is a hustle than it is what it is.
Lol oh so you reepond to ME repsonding to someone saying "it's more than that" bit you don't respond to THEM and say "it's just an honorable title. And you don't notice that Micha doesn't call it that. He thinks he's a fucking King lmao
I'm glad you asked tho. Let's continue. ...

Nope. Still waiting on you to answer the original one. So far we got your friend and someone in a documentary in the 60s. You need more people..
Why wait? They didnt. They just slapped a title on him. He's a king. Done. Now he's a "neck breaker" as you translated. Hey who's necks did they break BTW?LOL! I’m smart enough to know that Nkosuohene is not the only title bestowed upon Brothas and Sistas from the diaspora, hence why I said I will wait.
I read it.. You're probably too stupid to realize you provided evidence contrary to your original assertion tho. So far you have a documentary guy from the 60s, a world famous actress turned American diplomat from the 70s, your "friend" (allegedly), and you provided an article explaining what the ceremony is. Hardly supports your implication that everyone gets the honor. Why are you waiting instead of reading all the evidence ? Oh that's right you don't actually like info based in reality.
Wow you're doing a whole lot of mental gymnastics lol...I read it.. You're probably too stupid to realize you provided evidence contrary to your original assertion tho. Thanks for playing tho.
Now they are all fat bald dudesAkwamu were feared Warriors befitting of Michael Jai White’s character.
Its still a simple thread. Good discussion on what these honorary chief installments mean. Also a good way to begin to understand relationships with other people within the diaspora.I thought people you put on iggy are not supposed to see your posts? I hate when a simple thread becomes a bitch fight.
Damn bro. You done?I read it.. You're probably too stupid to realize you provided evidence contrary to your original assertion tho. That’s what’s up fuck all crackas
NO! HE IS A KING! Not a chief! He has command of troops, loyalty of the people, he will collect taxes!! And he will FIGHT to defend his Akwamu subjects at all costs!!this chieftancy title is comparable to a honorary degree bestowed upon scholars & celebs here. Nothing more or less to it.
