We have sport ARENAS.. .Where spectators were onced entertained by Gladiators . Now the Athletes are the entertainers. While the Owners (white) count the dough.. And we as fans enjoy the games.. Like the Romans onced did

He's right. And I suppprt LBJ in every way I can...

However, if the NFL is a slavery mentality, then, the NBA is a sharecropping mentality.

It's called something different, freedom is perceived, but it's still the same outcome. We are underrepresented in every facet except on the court and their contracts are guaranteed, so hypothetically, they should be able to activate more.

No one is kneeling in the NBA.

And if you wanna speak up, ask Craig Hodges and Chris Jackson how that worked out.

:dunno:

This. I respect Bron, as a man for everything he has and will continue to do... But the NBA really isnt THAT different at the top. Basketball is different in that individually players at the top are more important,(profitable for owners) so they enjoy more freedom than in the NFL. But it doesnt change the fact that theyre only allowed to do what the owners let them. Theyre still required to stand for the anthem... There are far more important issues to fight for, but the point is theyre not as free as theyd like to think, Its just NFL=old school racists. NBA=liberal racists... See Marc Cubans statements a few days ago...

To be honest the NBA is different today...
It's different today because it has rules stating that players can't kneel, best believe the most important thing is the bottom line. The NBA has a better CBA and union than the NFL so the players have more say so, but different not really. Remember when the British and Europe outlawed slavery, they went to many countries, colonized them and slaughtered the natives. But they were no longer slave masters.

interesting how there hasnt been a comment from the NFL disputing his claim
Roger know he right, the might argue the terminlogy or verbiage but they know its the truth

in the NBA the players & owners are partners
in the NFL in general the players are disposable, faceless, commodities

to put down revolts and uprisings against the empire, Caesar declared: give them bread and circuses!

That same tactic works to this day.

I'm self employed with connections to the street,
I can't see what u just said..brah
ummmm....Good for you nigga. You want a medal? 99% of us work for major corporations, just like most cac's. It is what it is.

I'm not bussin' no one over the head for my money. I work hard AF. I get that I'm just a cog in the machine. I'm good with that for now.

At least the cats in the NFL have a chance to make millions and change their families lives for a few generations if they are smart with their money.

As I said in the other thread about this Adam gives the players a little more rope than the nfl but don’t get it twisted he ain’t on their sides. At the end of the day he works for the owners thus the reason they sent out those memos to all the players reminding them of the Athens policy when the nfl protest were happening.

All the shit Gilbert talked about Lebron and he still went back kind of goes against his statements

He's in a position of power with nothing to lose sportswise. His legacy is cemented.

I just hope he's careful. He'll be a target now.

Lebron isn't gonna say anything about NBA owners b/c he's still planning on joining them in the future

. You mean he may be MORE of a target or Maybe not.. Men with strong character dont let outside factors dictate who they are... They define themselves. He already went through his share of criticism for example when he left the Cavaliers, property vandalized, Death threats.
