I think the auto industry as a whole in America is at the end of its road. I feel bad for the people in the supply chain, because their days are coming too. Hell, I work for a tire distributor. Im in the same sea even if I'm not in the same boat. As much as I'd love to lay this at the feet of Trump... Cause his trade war expedited thsee events. The shit was coming regardless, just later down the line had that moron not come along.
I'm sad because the auto industry created allot of the foundation a good number of us were able to grow from, and this is the end. The symbolic nature of it... Not so good.

The problem is those manufacturing jobs are going away regardless. Obama subtly tried to tell folks that and was trying to find ways to help retrain folks. They didn't want to listen to the intelligent well meaning black man. They instead wanted to attack him and help elect a charlatan that was everything they accused Obama to be (minus the black part) .
This is why I was telling people about the TPP. I don’t like trade deals so much but the tpp trade deal would have really helped out US manufacturing but nope nope these people didn’t listen and now look what’s happening
It remains to be seen if Tesla actually starts making cars that avg people can afford to buy and maintain. As of now, they're still high-end. That alone ain't saving the Industry.
