Kim Kardashian Said Kanye West Likes Trump But Doesn’t Know About His Politics
Speaking at a criminal justice forum, Kardashian West said her husband “just happens to like Donald Trump’s personality, but doesn’t know about the politics.”

Kim Kardashian West on Wednesday addressed husband Kanye West’s controversial pro-Trump antics, saying he’s a poor communicator who often gets misconstrued.
“He’s very not political, actually, he just happens to like Donald Trump’s personality, but doesn’t know about the politics,” she said at Variety and Rolling Stone’s Criminal Justice Reform Summit.

When moderator Van Jones opened by asking if the couple has differing politics, Kardashian West stopped him to note that “when we talk about it, we have very similar politics,” but her husband is just “the worst communicator,” so his message gets “really misconstrued.”
Kardashian West added that she has educated the rapper on Trump’s politics recently, and while it seems based on recent tweets that West has taken a step away from politics, he is still friendly with the president.

“What he fights for is the right to like what he wants to like. Even if it’s different from what you like,” said Kardashian West, explaining West’s motivation for visiting the White House recently. “He never said, ‘OK, I know what’s going on with immigration, and I know this and I know that.’ If he really knew, he would feel very compassionate about it. He never said that he supports that.
“I know it’s very confusing, because when you see someone wearing a red hat you would think that they are supporting that. But he’s just fighting for free thought and freedom to like a person, even if it’s not the popular decision.”
Kardashian West ended by saying she hopes West will eventually be able to speak for himself in a way that won’t be misunderstood.
“It’s taken a little long, so I’m jumping in and helping out, but I know his heart, so I never really stress too much,” she said.

While in conversation with journalist Van Jones at Rolling Stone‘s Criminal Justice Reform Summit, Kim spoke candidly about how her famous meeting with Trump came to be. She revealed that she first reached out to Ivanka Trump, who proceeded to connect Kim to her husband, Jared Kushner. “He has been amazing. He has fully listened,” Kim revealed. “Ivanka was amazing in really connecting me. And we really worked together as a team to present Alice’s case.”
When asked about whether the thought of collaborating with Trump, a politician whose views do not always align with her own, discouraged her from pursuing her cause, Kim shared, “I did consider the fact that I would get a lot of backlash if I went to the White House." She further explained, “For me, if it’s a life versus my reputation. People talk s— about me all day long, I didn’t really care. What more could they say about me, seriously? When I outweighed the options of bad stories about me that would probably last a week in this news cycle, versus saving someone’s life, that wasn’t an option. I will gladly go there and take the heat. Okay, if he’s gonna listen to me and he’s taking the meeting, maybe I can really get through to him and really explain to him. From meeting all of the people that I have met behind bars, I guarantee you, they don’t care who signs that clemency paper.”

Yeah Kanye thought sucking trump cock will help him with his album sales. He does not understand that people that vote for trump deep down don’t like your black ass. Now they are doing a reversal because from all that ass kissing they did not get any bounce and it has hurt there brand.
If we look at the time line, most of Kanye's recent political comments coincided with projects he was involved in and their drop dates. What he's learned from his wife is that, unlike in the past, all publicity is good publicity. Say what you will about Kim, but she's better than her husband at using bad pub for positive personal gain. (insert 'fuck tape' jokes here)
Kanye, being the idiot savant that he is, watches her and tries to emulate, failing badly. (see Dunning Kreuger effect)
He thought he'd draw attention by being pro-Trump in the same way his anti-Bush comments did years ago, then walk it back once the projects all dropped.
He failed and doesn't understand why.
Kim comes in and tries to fix his personal image while he slowly digests what happened.
I got to admit, she is a damn good wife and has held Kanye down.
I know it must be very stressful to deal with someone who may have mental issues.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, She really loves Kanye and has been a great wife to him.
I think she finally put her foot down and stopped Kanye from looking like a fool.

The idea that he's likes Trump makes me question his blackness. Something Trump wants no part of being associated with. Maybe that applies to Kanye too.
I would hope so because somebody needed to shut him down. Kanye is playing with fire. Kim does not strike me as someone willing to stay with anyone that comes off as a fool. Image means a lot with her.
Kanye should do like Michael Jordan, keep his political views to himself. Any black man that associates with a now known racist is heading towards his careers end.

TMZ reported on Friday that it has obtained court documents confirming that the reality TV star has filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West. A representative for Kim Kardashian West confirmed the filing to ABC News.
