She only got one album worth of shit to perform and it ain't gone sound shit like how it do on the album, and the bitch might not even show up until the shit is supposed to be over.

I dont get why dont they just tell Lauren the show starts three hours before then when it actually starts..

just let the fans know the time on the ticket is actually three hours later than what is printed.

Legit points have been brought up regarding her guaranteed lateness, not sounding good anymore and songs not sounding anything like the original versions. But I don't get the "she only got one album" comments. She can always perform songs that ain't on the album lol. Plus she could do Fugees songs too.
 
I saw her in concert two years ago. She was actually somewhat on time. However she insisted on remixing every song and by the time you figured out what the fuck it was she would speed up the tempo and bark at her band to segue into songs. Just play the song like the album bitch

I heard that she has to remix the songs because she was sued by the real writers of her album.

the show in Brussels Monday and the show in Paris Tuesday were disasters, she was late and not focused on giving a great show,
but the backlash and the push back which ensued seemed to have worked;
she was great Wednesday in Paris, yours truly was in the building and I can attest to that
it is to be noticed that she only performed alternate versions of the songs we all came to love 20 years ago
yes, that will bother you especially on the most known tracks and the singles
however after the first two songs, Lost Ones and Ex-Factor, I was able to relax, forget about the album and fully immerse into the performance
it was worth the wait as the show also started a bit later than planned even on Wednesday
about the alternate versions of the songs, some were actually better than the original versions especially When It Hurts So Bad and Forgive Them Father
btw she is barred legally to perform the original versions of the album's tracks and to use the name Lauryn Hill (even if she pretends otherwise), that's why she performs as Ms. Lauryn Hill
I didn't know she had 6 kids! they are all on tour with her, she brought some of them on stage at the end of the concert
I was pissed at her before going to the Wednesday's concert because I feared it would be as bad as Tuesday, I ended up leaving with a smile
there was a lot of emotion in the arena Wednesday at the end of the concert, the lady sitting next to me which I never met before taking my seat kept clutching my arm and sobbing as soon as she appeared and stage and said "It's funny how money changed the situation"
at the end of the day, she is just a black woman trying to find her way and escape the dark clouds,
as long as she respects her audience, she will be alright in my book
as far as I've heard the concert in Glasgow seemed to have went fine also, may she keeps it that way

Those suits have been settled years ago and she said many times she remixes them on purpose

She can't perform the songs like they were on Miseducation, because of not properly crediting people and being sued

If she plays it just like the album I might as well just stay home and listen to the album. Also, after 20 years of playing the same songs in the exact same way she would probably be bored as hell and it would show in the performance.

With that said though, I'm not trying to hear Lauryn Hill do anything live.

Sylvester Stewart is a fucking GENIUS. A FUCKING GENIUS. You've never heard that word anywhere near Lauren Hill. Sly had a half dozen lps to his credit before the drugs fucked him up.

Everything you hear in R&B today comes from SLY. There is R&B before Sly and there is R&B after SLY. Putting him in the same zip code as Lauren Hill is an insult.

Was posted here a few months back, some dude was exposing her why she can't use the music. They may be settled but she still can't use the peeps production, cause she never properly credited their work. She hasn't paid many who have had gripes with her for years. So she changes the beats on purpose.

That was BS. Why would someone care about her performances when they just wanted money and credit (which they got) all of the decades of artists being sued by others and Lauryn is the only one that has a clause that she has to remix her songs in concert? That’s not how the industry works. They want money and publishing

Don't think you get it. In order to avoid paying people, she chose to not use their scores. She sings her songs, some of which people say they co-wrote too, but the music is where there was also an issue.
