BTW those chores go by quicker than you think. Its not as tedious as it seems. So after get the house built you can just spend your time hunting or doing wharever. I built the house last night after work. I looked at the story progress and its at 93%. So I'll finish it probably around the weekend or around the time online releases.

I chose to stay w/ john instead of going back for the $$$ but bcuz I was dishonorable throughout the game...I got the ending where micah shoots off half my face...that shit still stings...if I had been honorable during the game he would’ve just left me to die from tuberculosis

thanks...I haven’t made it that far yet...I just got the job after retrieving the cart back from those 2 goons...and I got the little shack where I can stay @ for now...I couldn’t play on cuz I was pissed @ arthur’s death...despite the tuberculosis death sentence I still had it in my mind that he’d make it to the west coast or perhaps even a tropical island and spend his last few days there...but the way the character dies makes sense tho...I’ve learned to accept it and can begin to move on LOL!
 
Did anyone pickup the semi auto pistol? I meant to try it out. I know it must be unlocked in the store now after the main story.
 
I was also pissed @ arthur’s death cuz I felt he should’ve had a better contingency plan...during chap. 5 & 6 it was evident him and dutch were on two completely different wavelengths...dutch almost leaving him to die @ the oil fields should’ve been the last straw...I liked the story a lot overall but I think there was too much “back and forth” involving him and dutch when it was clear they both felt the other crossed lines @ key points in those final chapters...there were times when arthur’s responses felt like that of a disgruntled teenager...despite his dissent he still basically let dutch lead him to his death

I never finished the first one...I can’t even remember how far I made it...it was obvious from the doctor’s visit but I was still shocked by the specific details of his death based on the ending I got...I think I mostly just want micah dead lol...if that chance comes up don’t tell me lol...I definitely want to revisit the first game now...I’ll probably take my time and play thru it slowly when online starts

I wish they didn't skip so far into the future for John. Jack is already looks to be about 13. So it doesn't leave John much time between he starts his path of hunting down his old gang and meeting his own violent fate. Kinda sad knowing whats on the way. Feels like he only gets what maybe 2 years of peace after building a home. I think Jack is around 21 when he goes looking for Ross.

Yes 2 years he died in 1911. We start in 1909 building the house.

Authur accepted his fate. Once he was diagnosed with TB he was more so just being a good soldier. Once he saw Dutch for what he really was he was trying to save who he could.

15 minutes my ass. This is like trying to collect a whole set of football cards as a kid. I had everybody but Derrick Thomas and Troy aikman. When you can only get two cards at a time.

I got four of one card three of another, 2 of 15 more. And you have to discard the cigarettes after 2 packs

They should at least give you a achievement/trophy for getting one. I bonded mine up to lvl 3 but I stayed with my preorder warhorse until the end which was fitting.
