I've ran into two so far both were story or random event based. Got killed by the white cougar in the cave the first time. Then the random encounter had to save a npc from a cougar. Horse bucked me off I think then I dead eye the cougar.
Done deal.
Yeah, this has me bothered. I have done the glitch five times, I have $55,000 and 30 bricks of gold just on me. Can I get robbed and lose all my shit or is my shit safe. As my dude said, I don't feel comfortable walking around with all this money on me in case I get got
I saw people posting that they lost all their money from getting robbed but fellas here say the most you lose is a couple hundred. So im assuming people that lost everything didn't have much to begin with.
Is this a hint just about that particular side mission or should I hold on to all my gold bars until a certain point in the game?

When I got robbed, it was a very early stage of the game. I wouldn't have had a lot of money, especially after buying a gun or some shit at camp.
If it wasn't for that glitch, losing that couple hundred would've hurt me, too.
True. I haven't gotten robbed yet just setup and murdered by gangs. All I do is hunt and be ignoring people yelling for help. Can't risk losing perfect pelts on some bullshit lol
I went to a guy's camp he told me to leave I was getting on my horse to leave when he shot at me so I hogtied him and threw them into the fire worst thing I've done yet lol also loot them before you do that because you lose everything that's on them
Anybody found some new ways to torture? I just came across the klan for the first time. Got the game on rest mode til I get back to the crib.
I’m saying if you do the gold glitch, do it one last time and save all of the bars. You only need about 25k cash. Btw you don’t lose any space in your satchel for carrying that many bars.
I think the amount you lose is about 25% I had $114k and went down to 84k

You can be robbed for all of your money. I can 100% confirm this. Had me feeling some type a way about not saving the game as often as most. I lost $39,000 when I got hit.
