That pic is not hard to understand

The PS4 image is the same as the Xbox image. Sony has marketing rights for RDR2, all game play pics are from the PS4. So you wont be able to tell the differences.

RDR2 is not coming out for the PC that's why the last image is video from RDR2 PS4 game play trailer on Youtube. And of course you can see the differences on high end PC vs a $300 - $500 console.

I didn't even look at that pic, I was basically talking about in general. Comparison I've seen over the years, they all look the same to me. That's why I always buy both consoles. I play my PS4 more because of the exclusives and Playstation Live. Fools who be streaming on there are hilarious

damn...just read GS is releasing the game @ 9PM locally regardless of where you live...I hope the digital downloads become available before midnite

Digital Downloads are already underway.

I pre-ordered the (digital version of) game about 3 weeks ago, and it started downloading this weekend (ie late Friday night/early Saturday morning).

i have my red dead downloaded already ready to go.i didn't see any add ons for the xbox one x if im correct its about 90gb

technically speaking mine is already downloaded but I obviously was talking about being able to play it
If they are selling 'physical' copies early... then yes.. you will be able to play it early also.
Whenever a video game (physically) 'hits the shelves'... is when you can play it.

Game Developers would get "sued out of business" if they sold a (physical) CD of a game that was unplayable / or locked.
They MUST change the actual 'release date' of the software to whatever date they allow gamers access to it, to avoid potential lawsuits.

They can always release it EARLY (without notice)... but definitely not 'later than expected'. :smh:

Just saying.

I hate when ppl say/type a whole lot of shit and it’s basically nothing different from what I said in a few words

Cmon bruh. What I said is totally different than what you said. :hmm:

Lemme summarize...

- You basically said... "I HOPE I can play (the digital version) early." (keyword: hope)
- But I basically responded... "YES. You CAN. (There is no HOPE needed)."

You were UNSURE...
But I gave some context as to WHY you do not have to "Hope".

That's the difference.

Peace fam.

you literally said nothing to that effect...you talked about being able to download the game early then went into the history of physical copies of video games...even tho you can download the game early as far as I currently know it can not be played until midnite this fri.

GS on the other hand is selling physical copies of the game 3 hours earlier that can be played so again I am hoping digital copies will be available to play 3 hours earlier as well...if memory serves me correct NBA 2k19 kind of relaxed on the midnite thing for digital copies and made it available @ 9PM regardless of time zones

Allow me to quote myself & direct your attention to...

It wasn't that hard to figure out. :hmm:

Translation....
There is NO hope necessary. :smh:
Because Gamestop cannot sell (physical copies of) the game EARLY.... WITHOUT the (explicit) Approval of the Developer.
And whenever the 'physical version' of the game 'hits store shelves'... is when you can play your 'digital version' at home. End of Story.

You complain about ME saying 'the same thing as you'.... but at the same time.... you ignored 'what I actually wrote' that was completely different than what YOU said, or what you IMPLIED.

...whenever the 'physical version' of the game 'hits store shelves'... is when you can play your 'digital version' at home.

bullshit...I have never heard of that as a given “rule” but we shall see

To get the game as early as possible, you can pick it up from GameStop or Best Buy at 9 PM local time on October 25. If you pre-order a digital copy of the game, you can pre-load it now. Your copy will become playable shortly after 12 AM on October 26.
