Good questions. Toto Wolff forever has some words of sympathy for Vettel and we know having a German champion in a German team would be a dream for Mercedes marketing. I think if Lewis decides to retire after 2020, Vettel would be in a Mercedes seat ASAP. Right now, he's good money but come contract negotiation time they might do him like Schumacher and give him boot.
Good point, but we are a Tweeter driver society who has the most followers equates to popularity and sponsors. Mercedes Benz today sell more sub 50,000 dollar cars than ever before can it be the popularity of Hamilton driving a Merc power F1 to the younger market? Would the Silver Arrow take that chance?

He just got a better start, went up the inside at turn one and was gone. But, Ferrari is about to fuck this up with their strategy calls it looks like.
Merc has made the better call at nearly every critical moment this season.
