X-MEN Dark Phoenix | Official Trailer

the dark phoenix is one of the best sagas in comics and fox has fucked it up...twice...yes I’m writing this bullshit off already...it’ll probably be 10-15 years before marvel studios can work there way up to it...the phoenix saga could rightfully be the “infinity war” of the x-men “universe”...and mystique is played out...this new wave of “x” movies was tolerable up until they kept casting her and the apocalypse disaster

Wait doesn't this fuck up the first X-Men movies? How are they releasing this like this?
It sure the fuck does!! Did they go back to the past...AGAIN!!!

This flick is coming out in early 2019.

It’s possible they are setting it up to have these characters/actors move over to the MCU.

Thanos with the Space and Time Stones could possibly move them into the MCU.

It would make a great after credit scene.

Allegedly in 1 of the infinity story leaks...xmen appear in after credits of avengers 4... Take the leak with a grain of salt

So lemme get this straight. Jean Grey turns "evil" because she has issues with Xavier.

Yeah I think they tried to fix it with. The Days of Future Past movie. When wolverine goes back in time.

The made Days of Future Past (another great storyline that they fucked up) to erase all the previous movies. SIDE NOTE: You know your franchise is fucked up when you make a fucked up movie to fix your previous fuck ups. X-Men: Apocalypse was the "reboot". It's been well documented how they fucked that up.

Magneto is a badass. Why they got him looking like a refugee living in a dump?

Marvel should reboot this shit. Say fuck everything you've seen in the past. We're going in a different direction. We're going to do something Uncanny!

I thought J-Law was done with MCU? Fassbender too. Oh, well. Neither one was compelling enough to save the rebooted Xmen series and I see no evidence they can save this movie. And Sophie Turner? idk about that. And I never liked Alexandra Shipp as Storm.

Characters yes, actors hell no..They need to replace Sansa Stark as Jean Grey quick

It seems as if your wishes will come true eventually.

First X-Men: Dark Phoenix trailer teases the end of the saga as we know it

Big changes are on the horizon for the X-Men franchise.

Fox just released the first trailer for Dark Phoenix, the latest installment in the X-Men series in which the team of mutants must save one of their own, Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), who is corrupted after gaining terrifying new powers. It's based on the popular Dark Phoenix Saga, a comic storyline from 1980. The cast from the previous three films returns, with Jessica Chastain also joining as a shapeshifter who serves as a mentor to Jean.

Dark Phoenix has had a bumpy road to the big screen, as it was originally set to release in November 2018 but was pushed back to go through reshoots in response to test screening feedback, per Collider.

This sequel is likely to be the conclusion of this iteration of the X-Men, even if it wasn't originally intended to be. After all, the movie franchise is currently owned by 20th Century Fox, but when the Disney purchase of Fox is finalized, these characters will be incorporated into Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe. At that point, a full reboot, complete with the recasting of every character and a reset in continuity, will almost surely be required.

It remains to be seen how conclusive Dark Phoenix itself is, seeing as it was mostly written and shot before the Disney purchase was announced, but the trailer does open with a telling song lyric: "This is the end."

Dark Phoenix hits theaters on Feb. 14, 2019.

Maaan I skipped X Men Apocalypse because of yall and I ended up liking it. I'm going to see this in the theater.

I can say the same thing about Iron Man 3 but I watched that shit at home and AFTER I saw Civil War.

I'm more looking forward to all this shit coming to an end. Like that X-Men Apocalypse was a massive step back and I saw that shit during the matinee day, Apocalypse is suppose to be a massive global threat like Thanos and since when the fuck are Quicksilver and Mystique member of the X-Men...did they ever establish that Magneto is his father? Fuck this movie I'm so glad Marvel got they shit back.

Whats weird is that.... This movie is set in the 90s.... Captain Marvel is ALSO set in the 90s

Jessica Chastain's character is said to be of skrull origin..... The primary antagonists in captain marvel are the Skrulls.....

X-Men are going to space in this.... half of Captain Marvel will be in Space.....

These two movies are coming out like a month apart from each other
