What is it with these black chiefs always being in charge when an innocent black person is killed by one of their cops? You'd think that there are only black police chiefs in America.

I said what I said because they don't speak out or speak up. They can feel some kind of way all they want but rarely and I mean rarely do you see one stand up to there own. They might cry on the shoulders of family and friends but ain't nobody filling out any reports or complaints or getting up in a witness seat. That's facts. They know that at the end of the day they're blue.
Do we know if they are turning each other in? We say stuff because we don't see it publicly, but doesn't mean it's not happening. And I'm not saying it is, but do we know that it's not? Again there is a way to do anything and we all trying to survive in this wicked country.
We know because just like in the military they don't get to keep there jobs and/or get reprimanded if they do and those that speak out and lose those jobs and/or get reprimanded have no problem going public. I served in the military and I spoke out about foul shit I saw and got reprimanded and passed over for promotions and had no problems with speaking out about what they did to me and the folks I spoke up for. I took my shit to the op-ed section of the base newspaper going over everybody head. It cost me my career but it is what it is. I'll be damned if cacs in my chain of command will be wearing shirts with confederate flags around my family with the phrase "Lincoln was wrong and the south shall rise again". All the while shitting on black troops and showing favoritism to whites. The black higher ups wanted me to keep quiet and keep my head down and don't make waves. That's the mindset of most blacks in jobs like LEO and the military. Keep your head low and don't make waves. Go with the flow and act like you don't see it. Hell some of them even act like they don't hear the racist jokes or actually laugh along with them. Just keeping there heads down and not making waves. Then they go home and have there friends and family thinking they all pro black.
I'm not apologizing for nothing I'm saying, I'll never marry a police officer, definitely related to a few, friends with a few, but that has nothing to do with nothing.

For this exact reason is why I'm worried that you have the DA and Chief, both black, and don't know what political party the chief is, but the DA is repub, so you kinda already can assume what side she leaning towards and will play the "justice" will prevail and "let the Rangers do their thorough investigation", not displaying how she feels inside, if she has any morals. Who knows. But to not take action for the positions you hold, other cities they wouldn't play that.
That bullshit I went through was when I was stationed in Texas at Fort Hood. I know Texas is full of that good old boy network bullshit. They fly that confederate flag proud and some black folks wear cowboy hats. I didn't see that much bullshit in klantucky.

When we were stationed in Germany and I worked in Military personnel, people would come file complaints or come in and talk to the E-7 I worked with, he was a white dude, and he would say this shit will never see the light of day, because either he like the people or he was too fucking lazy to follow through with the grievance. I would mentioned it to the Major that we both worked for and that's when shit would get done. My point is, they may be reporting but who are they reporting it to?
What I gave you was the exact same example except the people I initially reported it to was black senior nco's in my chain (who said keep my head low) . I then walked it up the chain to the white officers (who where friends with the offender) . The shit rolled back downhill on me. Why? I didn't keep my head low. I didn't keep quite and let the good old boys do what they do. The scared niggas didn't protect me. Even though I was right in defending myself, my family, there family and other black troops. I got reprimanded for standing up so I took the fight public. I went to the press. I shined a light on all them cacs and those coon ass nco's. Fuck a paycheck if I can't look my family in the face. I can always earn a dollar but I only get one chance to earn my family's respect. I can't hide being a dark skin black man so I wear it with honor.
