The site could be making bread off ad revenue, there are many that pay for just impressions per thousand impressions, called CPM. And if someone clicked, would be more. But going by the amount of views per day, should pay for itself. And members paying is added revenue.
I'm just kinda hesitant on possibly new ownership bringing unwanted traffic and changing the overall culture of BGOL. Idk. We will see.
@Mixd The Amazon ads brings in about $150 a month, the Fanatics ad made $64 this past month, all other ad banners I have posted made $0. To join most ad programs you have to apply and be accepted, BGOL doesn't get accepted very often and when it does BGOL members don't click and buy.
What CPM programs are out there that you speak of? Please list them if you will. Then ask yourself will they advertise on this website? But do list them, you are trying to give the impression that I have not looked into all of this, so list the CPM affiliates and we will go over each one.
There may be Sex ads I can run on here that will pay CPM but those are in most cases pop-under affiliate programs. Most CPM affiliates that will advertise on BGOL are Sex related stuff, like Cams chicks, get hard pills, Viagra, sex games etc. Members have made it clear to me they don't want sex ads.

There has to be a legitimate way that a site of this size with this much daily traffic can find a way to generate $10K to $20K monthly at a minimum. And that revenue can be shared among actual fiscal partners. Who couldn't use an extra grand or two per month? Too many huge sites out there making major advertising bread.
Those of you afraid of new people or members gotta get out of that mindset. Will that invite brand new trolls or racists or whatever? Maybe. They just have to be banned and fleshed out like any other site does. Sites like FB and YouTube do it all the time. Time for BGOL to make bread just like the other huge websites do.
