We're now 3 weeks into the preseason. What are your takes on some of the SetTV alternatives thus far? I've been trying out Elite Tv & I like the interface but have had occasional audio dropouts & video randomly reverting to a previously played moment

Eternal TV was the best app out there by far
Especially for the money, only $5 per month

For anyone else that has Eternal TV..... don't fuck around & miss a payment b/c they will cancel yo shit
For example it goes like this:
Imagine if BGOL was a month to month membership website (but with only a finite number of usernames available to give out)
If you want access to BGOL for September, you prepay on August 31st or September 1st, etc, etc, every month
But if you fuck around & miss that day...HNIC will close your account & give your username to someone else
Then you have to sign up again & wait in line for days/weeks for another new username
That's how Eternal TV is !!!

Same shit JUST happened to me. I been using it for sports and there hasn't been many sports on lately....didn't know my shit was terminated and now NBA NFL are right around the corner. Shit sucks. Now invites wait for them to make it available again.
Watched several games using vader streams with very few issues. Overall there are random pauses for a few seconds...say like every few hours or so, but it doesn't take away much of the experience and I don't find it much of a big deal. I'm really not sure if it's vader or my shitty spectrum internet.
The catchup feature is sweet...it's like having a dvr if you happen to miss a show or program. Can go back a week or so and watch any show you missed.
I don't really use the ondemand...thats what terranium is for...
Using the android apk on a wired firetv box.
Overall, happy with the experience...will renew this upcoming month.
I keep hearing about buffering issues with Vader Streams. Makes me a lil cautious with giving them a try. I might end up having a temper tantrum if it buffets in the middle of a game & I miss a key play

I tried the free evaluation of that & it pissed me off. Bad buffering issues & even worse is that it would randomly boot me off the channel I was watching & then take forever to reconnect.
I went back to MOBDRO, for now
It's not 1080p quality, but it's good enough for right now

Only Sports, and occasionally CNN or MSNBC
Ideal situation for me would be to get Eternal TV again for $5 a month

No buffering issues at all and the world wide tv shit is mad deep. Pay per view, it’s all there. NFL and nba. There’s a way to record on nvidia shield too if you can’t view live all the time. U can try pointing to a different server.. it defaults to the one closest to you but some servers have faster speeds / better bandwidth

There's also a speed test to check the bandwidth
Called Spectrum a few weeks ago...they sent out a guy and turns out all my cabling/connections were old. He replaced everything and I've had smooth streaming since then.
No more buffering or dropping issues. Watched the college games with no issue last Sat.
