To this specific tweet. How is it ridiculous and vague? Lebron still gets dragged for the series against the Mavs. That's the example right there. He's pulling from a previous example.

Curry has had several underwhelming performances in the finals and he gets a pass. If Lebron had come out and had 2 points entering the 4th, the articles would have been ready to publish as soon as the game ended. If Durant would have done it, they would have written about him not doing what he was brought on the team to do. When Wade didn't perform against the Spurs, he got killed for being washed. Players get routinely killed for coming up short in the big moments.

You can't use Nash as your reference because he never played in the Finals. The reference is for the NBA Finals. You can't be that obtuse???

If any other superstar had performed like that, it would have been a major topic of discussion. Even if they lost, it wouldn't have been a topic because we already have examples of his underperforming in the Finals (also with them losing) and it never became a major topic of discussion.

Kobe still gets killed for shooting the Lakers out of it against the Pistons. Malone gets killed for coming up short. Ewing still gets killed for coming up short in 94. Shit, even the role players from that team get killed (which blows up your "he's not on Lebron's level" bullshit). People still bring up Stark's 2-18 performance.

Even outside of the finals, people still bring up role players not performing. Charles Smith, Nick Anderson.

Dawg.. Magic Johnson was called Tragic Johnson and that was after he had already won a title as a fucking rookie.

The whole point is that Curry consistently gets a pass....and you're just another one giving it to him with that "how can you choke as a pure shooter....you're just missing shots!!" bullshit. The capes fly hard for this nigga Curry.

He had a trash game 2 in the 1st one and a less than stellar game 3
When healthy he shows up in the finals period there's no debate on it honestly
He should have won the 1st finals mvp he was the only person to average 20 points on the team coming in at 26 a night Klay Thompson didn't show up Iggy was the 2nd leading scorer with 16 points a game average for the series and the narrative that he doesn't show up and everyone else saves him is born and absolutely bullshit lol

It's not a problem calling him out on a bad game a horrible night. Do it. I do it. He was trash with the shot last night

It's the overall indictment that's bullshit

Curry missed layups and jumpers he usually makes the bar is he can never have an off night or it's an indictment on him overall?

Cause if we saying he had a horrible night last night we agree completely and yet he wasn't mentally checked out the shit didn't fall and it's fine to point that out cause I did too

This is consistent but every bad game is treated as an anomaly.

The problem is that he both gets passes for playing like ass in big moments and the team is so ridiculously constructed that a two-time MVP and the league's only unanimous MVP can play like ass on the road in the NBA finals and his team still have very little chance of losing. Thus, it's the double pass. he gets rewarded for playing like ass. He doesn't even need to improve because there is no penalty for it. No other superstar has had that type of luxury in the finals..none.. I've been watching ball for decades and you can not name one superstar who has had that luxury.

I don't see how anyone who isn't a Warriors' fan could like this bullshit. Without Durant, the Warriors team would have at least been forced to improve (without just adding someone). Curry would have been forced to become a better facilitator... a better defender... Green would have needed to add some offense...Curry would have needed to step up at the end of games on the road, etc.. maybe Klay would have had to take on a bigger offensive load...none of them niggas had to get any better because they added Durant. They can all keep their flaws and EASILY win titles. These niggas have won 7- out of their last 8 Finals games all because they added Durant.

Like I said, this would have been like the Lakers or Celtics in 86 adding Jordan. It's supreme hoe shit and bad for the game. None of them niggas need to even worry about getting any better. They would have been forced to play their best or lose...which is what the NBA finals is all about. Curry was only hurt 1 time. He was hurt the 2nd playoff run. Not the 1st or the 3rd and not since he's been back in this one.
In the 2nd playoff run the nigga literally sprained his MCL and came back 2 weeks later and people want to pretend like he was 100% after spraining his fucking MCL DURING THE PLAYOFFS
