Credit card question......(Naked ladies inside)

Credit card expires 06/2018, credit union says, we'll send you a new card around June 15th 2018.

Isn't that kind of late? My previous cards were already sent a week or two before the expiration month.

Some sites will reject the card because the expiration month is the current month. Per credit union the card is valid until the last day of the expiring month.

Anyone have this issue?

You could always report the card as lost and ask them to next day you a new one as long as you can go without using it for a day or two.

Now that you’ve held up your end, my recommendation would be to call your credit union and ask them to FedEx the card. Let them know that you can’t make purchases because of the lateness of the card and they’ll do it. Credit unions are much better than banks about that kind of thing.

Just be sure to try to make whatever purchases you need to make before you call your CU because (obviously) they’ll deactivate the current card once you get them to send you the new one.

I'm traveling so I need to make sure the card will work.

I don't carry a balance on my credit card. I can honestly say I haven't paid interest on a credit card in over 15 years. I almost never use my debit card.

This is a rewards card so I use it in place of cash because I always elect to receive cash payout.
