0fficial 2017-2018 NBA Postseason Thread....NBA Finals Cavs vs Warriors 0-4(dubs back 2 back champs)

I've seen great teams do that before though. I've seen the great Bulls teams, Lakers team, etc step it up a notch halfway through the third... and they would blow team off the court and also the starters would sit with 7-8 minutes left in the 4th if they could blow it out.

They're just pacing themselves. You can't go hard all game long.
Man if they win this year, they gonna be sleep walking thru the regular season for the rest of their careers:smh::smh:

Yeah. Regular season just won't mean shit. 73-win team adds Durant and they might not even win 60 games again during the regular season. They're not losing sleep about regular season losses and I told Bills going for 73 is partly why they lost...because they were playing hard to get that record when starters should have been resting IMO. They know more than any other team that regular season wins don't mean shit.

You have comprehension issues, son. I said it would be stupid to chase 73 wins when you're trying to win a title. They were already showing signs of fatigue at the end of the season. Nothing about them playing too hard. Kerr should have managed their minutes better.

Yep; I knew when they didnt win that year it was a wrap; i knew there effort would never be the same; now that they beat Houston, twice at Houston, who was supposed to be the 2nd best team in the league; beat them without Iggy; man after this year, anyone who wants to judge them based off regular season; just forget it....

It wasn't the only thing... but the Warriors can't both say Steph wasn't healthy during the finals (and other players) and then also say playing 40 minutes a game during the last week of the regular season didn't play a role.

That nigga eewwll salty as fuck

Knowing damn well this warriors team would sweep the 89,90 and 04 Detroit team easily
Playing by which era of rules? Cause I can tell you right now Draymond ain't doin all that shit in 88'

Playing too many minutes is not the same as "playing too hard", idiot. Did Lebron play too hard this season? No. Did he play too many minutes? Yes. A 15 year vet shouldn't be leading the league in minutes. Play "hard" is about intensity. You can play too intensely as a player and not even rack up a lot of minutes. All the Warriors fans complained that Curry didn't play well in the finals because he was "hurt". Well, he should have been playing less minutes down the stretch if he was "hurt" and not chasing a record. That's on Kerr.

Yep. Regular season doesn't mean shit. Cavs weren't even in the #1 seed in the east last year. You just want everyone as healthy ass possible going into the playoffs.

I don't know, man. People here on bgol still say that Steph was "hurt" going into the playoffs. But he played full starter minutes even during the last game of the regular season. Playing heavier minutes leaves your more vulnerable to injury. Either he was hurt or he wasn't.

:clownthis clown as nigga tryin his best to back out his "they was playing too hard comment"

Try again:hohoho:

it played a part, just like a whole lot of other factors...

Yea you're right, those 73 wins didn't allow the baddest guard of recent, to shake a slow foot power forward for a much needed bucket.

I ain't even gonna get into how those 73 wins caused someone to forget he was on a basketball court and not in the ring at Wrestlemania...

Let's say for shits and giggles they finished with 70 wins, that would've had them tied in those finally minutes when that bad ass guard needed to shake that slow foot power forward.
Shit if you ask me maybe a few less wins would've helped him tremendously. Those less wins could've empowered him to drive right pass slowfoot, like he did the next year in finals when his team had less wins....

Dont get me started that game Curry had only played like 36 min the entire game he had plenty of rest

Bro seriously...he didnt say that the regular season doesnt mean anything; its the Dubs who dont care about the regular season; lets keep everything in context; theres no need to be a shock jock......

I think he was hurt, but he nor his team talked that up....all he said was "When I'm out there I have to be better"...
Or something like that...

I wonder if LeBron is thinking he traded the wrong nigga?

Man Lebron fucks with JR tuff...

He's Pretty much consigned the trade involving JR to Cleveland(I'm sure you know that). Griffin wanted to know he'd Bron thought JR character would work, and Bron said I'm take care of JR...

If he was hurt, then playing full minutes during the last game of the season (and during that last two weeks) was a mistake when he should have been resting.

Well in 2016 he fucked his knee up in Houston’s floor and didn’t come back until the second round against Portland.. He didn’t have that burst of speed in OKC or in the finals where he couldn’t get separation from Kevin Love of all people

2017 and This year in game 1 he’s clearly blowing by the defense now so it’s clear he has his legs under him.. He’s healthy
