Only problem I have with this sentiment is he is saying this now that Bron has surpassed him. When Bron was ringless Kobe and MJ stans reveled in the comparisons. They wasnt hollaring that "lets appreciate them all" shit or "Bron hasnt played as many games" excuses like they saying for MJ now.
Time and time again in sports we have seen cases of “happy to be there”. The second half of that game we saw Boston say we are a young team and we are just happy to be here they made some bad choices on the court and it wasn’t because the Cavs had some lockdown defense in them

Its real simple for me.
Coach K has won the most games in college basketball history, not the best coach ever to me.
Emmitt Smith is the all time leading rusher, not the best rb in history to me.
Floyd Mayweather retired undefeated, not the greatest boxer in history to me.
There is nothing Lebron can do, to make me believe that Lebron is the best player I have ever seen in my life. If I was much younger, I probably would be a little more excited about Lebron's game, accomplishments, and competition.
I have not heard over 10 current or past pro basketball players, coaches, or teammates say that Lebron is the best basketball to ever play the game.
Still not the same. Warriors were a championship team that had already had a 72 win season previously. Philly has talent but you still have to make it all work.

What I said was true at the moment. Don't act like you went out on a limb by saying Lebron would be back in the NBA Finals. He's done it 8 straight times now. I never said he wasn't going to make it but moreso "They haven't made it yet". So there was nothing wrong with my statement.
He lost his best two players (on paper... Tatum >>> the white boy though) and was a quarter away from reaching the Finals. That was some great coaching. But as I said when the series hit game 4.. the Celtics had to win that game.. you can't turn it into a 3 game series when they're facing a team with championship pedigree... Lebron has been there and knows how to win those games.. Celtics out there starting multiple rookies.. dude did a hell of a coaching job
