Ayesha Curry, the pregnant wife of NBA star Stephen Curry, says a spectator bumped her stomach saying, “Doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?” after a game.

According to a video shared Friday on Twitter, after exiting the Golden State Warriors-Houston Rockets NBA playoff series in Texas Thursday night, Ayesha, who is eight months pregnant, was confronted by a Houston fan who mocked her husband’s team’s loss. In return, Ayesha grabbed his cigarette and flicked it toward him before walking away.

Curry, a 29-year-old chef, tweeted back: “The fact you have the audacity to post this after this man bumped me in my 8-month pregnant belly asking and I quote ‘doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?’ And continued to follow me and taunt me with his camera is beyond me … but ‘This is America’ right.”

In another tweet, Ayesha, a mom of two, wrote, “I thought it was an accident at first because it was crowded and then he made that gut comment and continued to follow me. I should’ve got him in the face instead of saving his life by removing the cigarette he was swinging around in my face. Wish there was full footage.”

Ayesha followed up: “I don’t have time for this anymore today y’all. It is what it is. I know people see what they see and believe what they choose to believe. I’m done defending myself against weird grown creeps for the day. Praying people like this get help and peace of mind.”

Scores of fans reacted to the reported incident, tweeting, for example, “Only a coward and an excuse for a man would harass a pregnant woman” and “So poking a woman’s pregnant woman’s stomach is ok?!? It’s one thing if she was just being razzed but this went beyond razzing because of a loss.”

However, on Friday, a man named Jose G. Camargo stepped forward on Twitter, denying Ayesha’s version of events. “I never bumped you, I never touched you,” Camargo tweeted, adding that while he didn’t know Ayesha was pregnant and had attempted to apologize for his comments.

Ayesha and Stephen’s third child will join daughters, Ryan, 2, and Riley, 5. Earlier this year, the CoverGirl beauty ambassador dropped a pregnancy announcement on Instagram with a photo of her wearing a shirt that read, “Preggers.”

“Heyyyy how did this happen?!” Ayesha wrote. “Curry party of 5. Feeling very blessed … and very sick. Yippie!”

There are people who shit happen to and they say fuck it and keep it moving ...then there are people who the same thing happens to and they wnt the world to stop as they recount the same thing to every person they see and now with social media they can send it out and get all the faux sympathy( and really attention) that they seek.

Everytime you turn around something is happening to her..boo fucking hoo.

My only thing is; why did South Park Mexican feel the need to respond if he was innocent?

Still, I do agree, drama always seems to find her.

Peace,

She can’t be down there around stupid, drunk, shitty fans. Too much potential for things to go awry.

And if a random stranger gets close enough to an NBA player’s family to make physical contact, security (not to mention the people around her) isn’t doing its job.

Somebody needs to see that cat. I suspect that loser has gone to his last Rockets game tho. Also, Steph is way too famous to have his pregnant wife at a game without security. And at 8 months she needs to have her ass home anyway and not at hostile road games.

Concur man; cats getting WAY too close; if folks can touch you, they are too close and/or your security is bad. Too many crazy motherfuckers in the world to try and be a common person when you’re not.

I know I am going to get HATE for this but, WITH HER FUCKING MONEY, THE GAME IS JUST AS ENJOYABLE AT HOME. No bumping,, and you get to use YOUR OWN BATHROOM.

Sorry, not interested in her issue. :dunno::dunno::smh::smh:

Had she been home it wouldn’t have happen to her.

Not good to fly at 8m preg

That environment causes stress which the child will feel.
