This is sort of what I saw out of Simmons at LSU
I questioned his effort. In college a player can be good enough to push his team far. Not Lebron far, but you should at least make the tournament.
Look at the freshman years Melo, Beasley or KD had. All of them at least made the tourney and Melo won.
Simmons team didn't even make the tournament and he seemed disinterested at times. Instead of playing as hard as he could in order to win, it seemed like he was cool with losing and just getting the game over with. Things like his outside shot will improve, but I'm not sure if his inner fortitude will. Thankfully he's not the best player on his team, so that helps.

They can't play him and Simmons together because neither can shoot, but they have to change up something with the line up.
There's no way they should be losing 3-0 to a team without their two top players and Jaylen Brown playing less than 100%

Which goes back to when I said a few weeks back that Fultz and Simmons can't play together......You got one who's 6'10 point guard who can't shoot and you got one who's 6'4 and can't shoot. I don't get the pick then and I surely don't the pick now. But its a process and Colangelo the smartest nigga in the room.

Naw I still don't see it. If Simmons is the point guard which they've always been behind.....why would you trade UP for a point guard? Shit makes no sense. I can see if he fell to you and you were like we taking the best prospect available to us....but you traded UP to get him. Makes no since.
