Trump is officially cornered **Update Follow the money

Like I said, no collusion. I said this many times. Many times before, that there is no-first, they found nothing. Nothing! So how can there be collusion? This, and I’ve been saying this before you. In fact, I call it, what I like to say, a witch hunt. Because that’s what it is, a witch hunt. It’s fake news. Fake folks. So fake. In fact, if you think about it, I couldn’t have colluded. Total lies. All lies.

They used the right type of meat HAM!

This feels like part of some gambit. Giuliani floats this detail out now, then Trump and co. spend the next few days pretending that it doesn't contradict the statements that he's already made about the matter. Then we shift right back into, "What's the big deal, anyway?" And the cycle repeats again...

This is all so fucking priceless. Rudy was really feeling himself.

After His Lawyer Paid $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, Trump’s Business Billed The Campaign $129,999.72
FacebookTwitterSubscribeGooglePinterestPrintMailFlipboard

This is the case of the missing 28 cents — and it HAS TO involve more than mere coincidence.

Just a few days after Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen “allegedly” paid $130,000 to porn actress Stormy Daniels (which he said was paid from his home equity account), his presidential campaign received invoices from Trump companies that added up to exactly $129,999.72

Did Trump’s lawyer arrange for Trump’s company to pay Trump’s campaign the money that was sent to Daniels? If so, there are going to be a whole host of new ethical and legal problems for Trump, Cohen, and the Trump Organization.

Let’s summarize these allegations as follows: the federal election laws do not allow campaigns to pay hush money to porn stars with whom the candidate has had a sexual relationship. These kinds of payments are not considered valid campaign expenditures.

Social media is on fire with questions about whether or not the Trump campaign received an illegal campaign contribution and paid unauthorized expenses under the terms of a contract (called a nondisclosure agreement) that Trump had with Daniels.

On Oct. 17, Stormy's attorney told Trump's attorney to pay the settlement right away, or the deal was off. That day the Trump campaign began a series of payments to Trump Org totaling $129,999.72.

The odds that this result is just a coincidence? About .1%https://t.co/WpQ2YocSJO

The Trump campaign made five payments in Oct. 2016 totaling $129,999.72. Was this random chance, or Stormy Daniels?

My brother (cofounder and chief analyst at @ModeAnalytics) and I built a statistical model to check.

99.9% probability it wasn't random.https://t.co/Fd0SXHOUkK

Many ethics experts (as well as Democrats in Washington) have raised concerns that the sexual hush money payment to Daniels was an illegal campaign contribution to Trump’s presidential campaign.

One prominent watchdog group called Common Cause has submitted a complaint to BOTH the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Common Cause’s complaint alleges that the payment made (by Cohen or Trump) was actually an “in-kind contribution” to Trump’s campaign, but was not reported on the required FEC disclosure forms. These forms must be filed by every campaign and they are required to disclose all the details about where the contributions come from and where the expenditures are made.

In a related story that is sad, funny and disturbing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders last week bragged during a press conference that Trump had already won arbitration against Daniels. This got her into a lot of hot water with her boss who had been denying both an affair with Daniels and the existence of a nondisclosure agreement that would require arbitration. So Sanders confirmed to the press something that Trump has always denied.

But it is no joke that two Democratic Members of Congress are referring the case to the FBI to investigate whether the $130,000 payment was in fact a campaign contribution in violation of federal laws. Stay tuned — there may be more indictments coming any day now!

They dont think anything is going to happen to them. They're not even trying to hide :smh:

They dont think anything is going to happen to them. They are fine hanging Cohen out to dry tho :smh:
fixed.
Yo. Hannity was like "But you remember the script, Trump didn't know."... the Ghoul was like "oh.. Trump knew! he didnt give the specifics out exactly how Cohen would get it done but he told him to take care of it!"....lmbaooooo....
Notice Hannity made it clear he wasnt part of that conspiracy tho. "Oh, i didnt know about that." .

Big problem is legally it doesn’t hold up. You’re looking at campaign funds violation and fraud at the very least.

Yo. All of this Trump shit proves white privilege more than anything I've ever seen. These guys are idiots. All of them. And they've been given, over the course of their lives, some of the most powerful positions in the world. They commit crimes out in the open and lie so carelessly you can prove it within minutes.

None of these CACs are even remotely qualified for the positions they've had.

But but blacks are statically the laziest and never qualified and lie and steal and cheat and and and but whites are the most trust worthy and wholesome and committed and work harder than anyone.

Didn’t you get the memo?

That's what you want to believe because it's seems so incredibly stupid otherwise. It's the POTUS and a "celebrated" mayor (who is also a lawyer) of one of the world's largest cities. So you think they have to be doing this for some strategic reason. I want to believe it too. However, I really think it's just a combination of arrogance and stupidity. There are too many arrogant plus stupid people to keep all these lies coordinated.

I was just thinking the same thing.

This is THE definition of white privledge.

They are saying this is a good thing. Because the FBI already has the info and they want to get ahead of this so no one purgers themselves

So Cohen is on record saying Trump didn't know, that he used his own money and wasn't reimbursed. Trump is on record saying he knew nothing, to ask Cohen and then went on Fox to say he did handle the Stormy thing. Now Rudy says Trump did know, and paid them back over several months. (if Trump is so rich, why did he need installments)

Even if Trump can stall being subpoenaed, Cohen and Rudy have no such protections, and anything before he was sworn in has no executive privilege.

I'm sure Mueller already has his taxes etc, but wouldn't this is only open them up to discovery regarding Trump’s finances if it hadn't before?

Trump lashes out after Giuliani says he repaid Cohen for Stormy Daniels payment

President Trump lashed out on Twitter after Rudy Giuliani said that he had repaid his lawyer for cash given to silence porn star Stormy Daniels.

Giuliani, a new member of Trump's legal team, said on Fox News Wednesday night that Michael Cohen , who has admitted to giving Daniels $130,000 during the 2016 campaign, was also paid by Trump.

Trump has denied knowing about the payment to Daniels, though his Twitter rant Thursday suggested he did.

"Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement or NDA," he wrote.

It was not immediately clear if the reimbursement was separate from the retainer, which Giuliani had said was $35,000 a month and suggested to him repayment for something given the lack of work that Cohen was doing.

Giuliani, when speaking with Fox host Sean Hannity Wednesday night, stressed that the money did not come from the campaign, which he said would be the only way it could be illegal.

The former mayor told Fox & Friends Thursday morning that both he and Trump only learned of the details of the arrangement , which Cohen said he did by himself, 10 days ago.

Giuliani said that the payment was "for personal reasons" and that the real purpose was to help save the relationship of Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, though also speculated about what would have happened if the Daniels allegations came out less than a month before the election.

Trump said that the NDA was "very common among celebrities and people of wealth."

Stormy Daniels is suing over the non-disclosure form that she signed about allegations of an affair. (Jefferson Siegel/New York Daily News)
"In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair despite already having signed a detailed letter admitting that there was no affair," Trump said.

"Prior to its violation by Ms Clifford and her attorney, this was a private agreement. Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll in this transaction."

Trump had been hesitant to speak out about the Stormy Daniels scandal, which is believed to be tied to prosecutors raid of Cohen's office last month.

Reports have said that Manhattan prosecutors are investigating Cohen for possible bank fraud and campaign finance violations.

Trump told reporters in early April a curt "no" when asked whether he knew about the $130,000 payment to Daniels, answering other questions with "You'll have to ask Michael Cohen."
