I always checked for his music because he was a refreshing change in the college dropout era...then later for his production skills and sonic experimentation in his albums...he was a capable rapper, not a great lyricist.
I have never read or watched an interview with him saying anything thought provoking, interesting or influential in any way...which is a reason I couldn't sit down and watch a 30 minute interview with this clown.

He checked the fuck out of him. All that nigga could do was try to apologize for hurting dude. He didn't want his punk ass apology, he wanted him to stop saying all of this dumb shit. I only liked his first album and just a few of the songs on his second album. I liked his soulful beats but once he stopped doing those I was done with him. His voice is terrible and he is not lyrical enough for me to just listen to him. He has always been strange. I remember when he first came out he was at the Beverly Center. He was signing some cd's or something and this guy brought him a large t-shirt. This fool got mad and was like"I said I want a medium shirt". I was like why is this nigga so mad and what grown ass man wears a medium. I haven't worn a medium since Jr. high or elementary school and I'm only 5"9".
